Elementary - Dear Watson said:
I am a massive needle phobe, so I pretty much can't get one! :(

But if I could I would have something involving the Guinness Toucan...
Good news, you can get a tattoo ... no needles involved in tattooing.

A metal rod with tiny spikes at the bottom goes into a tiny machine, nothing looks like a needle. Especially when it's in the gun and with a huge blob of ink on the end ... plus, nobody looks when they are getting tattooed.

The only thing to worry about is the pain, which is very tolerable.

I had a buddy draw up an image of the crest of Clan Campbell. It was pretty sweet as it was a mixture of two different pictures I had sent him. I got that put on my upper left arm. Even the guys at the tattoo shop liked it as they'd never seen anything close to resembling it. The urge to get another comes and goes but has yet to be strong enough for me to sit down and figure out what else I might want.

I'm getting a tattoo of the three goddesses from the legend of Zelda series. I moved to another country and I wanted something representing my sisters, and two friends. Since we all three have qualities fitting the godesses, and I always come out as Din, with the two sisters and best friends having more in common with Farore or Nayru. That and the five of us really LOVE the hell out of the Zelda games, so that's also a nice connection ^^

Zapdos, back in January.

I'm content with these. ^.^

I've been meaning to get a very simple depiction of the phases of the moon going in an arc across my back. Shoulder to shoulder-ish.

I had been pondering a lot lately about getting an old Viking symbol as a tattoo(I'm Swedish and got the look for it), but since many symbols are so heavily affiliated with nazism it seems that won't work...
Instead I'm leaning towards getting "jötunn" written on me in runes. Jötunn is an old norse word for the giants the Asatru gods fought against. No deeper meaning behind it other than that I'm pretty damn tall.

You can type in "jotun" at http://www.sunnyway.com/runes/write_in_runes.html to see what it would look like. Gotta research a bit more first though, to make sure it's accurate. The runic alphabet is simple, and yet so damn confusing.

Also have plans on getting a mockingbird with the words "and this bird you cannot change" somewhere. The mockingbird being Floridas national bird and the words coming from Free Bird, by Floridas very own Lynyrd Skynyrd, which is my favorite song(I heard it way before Guitar Hero! /hipster).

I think my sleeve is pretty unique --in the UK at least-- since it's by a somewhat obscure Japanese artist whom I only came to know of because he did the cover for a Dir en Grey single. I was also lucky enough to find an immensely talented tattooist who put in a crazy amount of detail:

There's been a bit more added since but I don't appear to have a photo. Even though I don't doubt someone else has a tattoo of the same guy's work, my sleeve was compiled from several different drawings so the arrangement should at least be unique.

I have the Black Flag bars on my back- It's probably one of the least original tattoos you can get, so I really have no place here.

Getting a Red Star done on my left shoulder. Big like. Maybe a Hammer and Sickle beneath it, still debating that. If I end up dropping out of uni and joining the armed forces I intend to get a few back tattoos. Thats about it for tattoos, always loved them, want a few.

Tempted to have a sleeve tat done down my left arm to cover up 7 years of self harm. I dunno how ink and scars mix though.

I would never have anything affiliated with nerddom tattooed onto myself. A nerd I might be now, but will I be one in 40 years? The only reason I can go for a Red Star or Hammer and Sickle is I simply would not WANT to be someone ashamed by those tattoos. The same does not apply for a Mushroom, 1-UP, Portal or arrow through the gorram knee.

If I ever do get enough dough that I could justify the expense, I'd like a cog with one of its teeth knocked out. Pretentious? Well, bog off, the tatooshop is one the last places on Earth where you're allowed to do such things sincerely.

Possibly also three little crowns, mainly in case I'd ever need my corpse repartiated. Maybe I could add a small adress box and stamp square?

I'm trying to find a reputable artist to design and do mine for me. I've had the design in mind for years now I just can't draw. (so if anyone can sketch it for me I'll love you for it!)

Basically I want a panther snapping chains that are laced around it's body.

The meaning is to break the chains society puts on you and more importantly the ones you place on yourself. My life is far from ideal but since I've started actively doing things for myself I've been a hell of a lot happier than when I was just going through the motions.

I've always thought it'd be cool to get the Triforce tattooed on the back of my left hand in UV ink, so it only glows when I want it to. I had a similar idea for the sigil from Shadow of the Colossus [http://a1.s6img.com/cdn/box_002/post_12/287823_1094851-prn01_lz.jpg], but to have it on the base of my neck or the center of my chest.

I really want one but I'm wary of it looking bad. IMO, there's a lot of places that look trashy and awful for tattoos like the thigh, lower back and upper arms.
Some of my friends have tattoos and they looked horrible! They look like they've been done with felt tip, I'm terrified in case mine look that bad.

I want Harley's 3 diamonds on each of my wrists, one side in red, one black.Only problem is I'm terrified of needles near my wrists, LOL!
I also want a Hello Kitty tatt somewhere. People have suggested to not get it over bone cos it hurts like hell.

All of mine are my original art. One is a wolf howling in a moon (really super simple design (my first)-it's for my art studio)), another is a drawing of the main character in my graphic novel-that hilariously gets mistaken for me :O, and my left arm is one of my female characters with wolves/scenery around her, and a purple ribbon with paw prints next to it to signify animal abuse awareness. I have designs drawn up (completely finished) for my chest, the rest of my right arm and my back
