Alright so recently have been breaking off my long term unhealthy relationship with sodas and trying to find something more consumer friendly. I tried water but that lasted about as long as a gnats attention span. But as of late I have been indulging in hot teas and have come to really enjoy them. Tazo so far has been my favorite, especially the zen green tea....mmmm....
But according to my friend I have only dipped my toe in the vast ocean of what is the tea world and i was wondering if there are any others out there who share my interest.
Post your particular blend of choice or any words of wisdom.

My Personal Preference: I LOVE MY TEA STRONG!!

Jasmine Green Tea
Vanilla Chai Tea
Vanilla Truffle White Tea
Earl Grey Black Tea
Mixed Berry White Tea

Best advice good sir: GET A TEA POT!! It makes the tea much more enjoyable.

Also I suggest either Sugar Cubes For the Black Teas and Honey when it comes to the Green Tea and Mixed Berry Teas. The Honey adds more of a natural sweet taste

I am partial to Green Tea. I drink it mostly whenever friends want to go out for coffee as I hate coffee with a passion. I like my tea very weak and I usually wait for it to cool of a fair bit before I sip it.

Did someone say tea?!?

Ah go on go on go on go on go on!
Actually I have no idea about tea blends, I take the brown kind, with plenty of milk. Tried some black coffee once and my nose nearly inverted itself into my face. That stuff was deadly stong!

In my humble opinion, you cannot beat a nice, strong cup of English breakfast tea, with a dash of milk and one sugar.
Recently however, I have developed a liking for the occasional cup of Apple and Cinnamon tea.

I'm a fan of Chocolate caramel chai, apple cinnamon orange pekoe blend, french vanilla black teas all of which you can find in the grocery stores.

If you want to venture out and try loose teas I cannot recommend any place more highly than the omg delicious teas at Steeped and Infused [http://www.steepedandinfused.com/] Including the Bourbon Vanilla black tea and the Captivating Caramel black teas. I love them as well because while they sell loose teas they don't come across all stuck up if you also enjoy bagged teas like many loose tea places do.

If you're fond of weaker teas try white teas. There are some very good ones by the various major companies and of course loose teas as well. They often have a much softer flavour and aren't as prone to being so strong and bitter as black tea sometimes can be.

I believe it's tetley though I could be lying does a white tea with blueberry. it's that odd one with the pyramid tea bags but with a bit of milk and brown sugar it's wonderful.

O.O

...

Minute or sometimes less. Depends on the Tea. Green is my favorite but I'm willing to experiment. I like my tea far more watery than most.

I can't find the 'It's got Cocaine in it' bit, I cried with laughter at that point.

Just try proper tea, unless you have, but then again, I'm not an open person...

Earl Grey. Stick the teabag in the hot water, beat the shit out of it, add a bit of milk and sugar, and bam. Tea. Stick digestives in it until I get bored or run out. Marvellous.

I'm trying to cut down on the sugar I put in tea. Because apparentally it verges on blasphemy to put too much in. >.>

Hurray for Father Ted! I personally love black teas, Earl Grey or Lady Grey if you like the little citrus taste to it. Loose leaf does definitely taste better, but I don't often bother. Plain old Red Rose black tea is nice too. Some places will sell tea samplers so you can try a bunch, I'd definitely recommend doing that.

Plain ol' Earl Grey.

I use just a little bit of sugar in it. Not so much it gets sweet, but enough so the tea's not so strong either(You'll just have to try different amounts until you're satisfied).

I enjoy a cup every evening in the space between 9-10pm. It just still any late-night cravings i might get otherwise.

I like Peppermint Tea, with a splash of milk and a spoon of sugar, and you have to drink it hot or otherwise it's too sweet to swallow.

I tastelessly call it 'Diabetes in a cup'.

Tetleys for me, or maybe PG Tips. Though I did live in Leeds for a while, and wish to move back there as soon as humanly possible, so I really should be drinking the local cups. Yorkshire Tea, perhaps? Taylors of Harrogate?

Okay, I jest here. But seriously, that's the only tea I ever drink, aside from whatever they have in the vending machine at work. I have no idea what kind of blend they all are, I always just say 'tea'. Though I wouldn't mind trying different blends. Certainly 'Sleepytime'... ;)

Did you try flavoured water? I'm not too keen on the normal water, so I usually drink strawberry Volvic water.
I quite like Twinnings, it has to be sweet though. I think I have blueberry and melon at the minute, I had strawberry and blackberry(?) not so long ago. They smell sooooo nice!~

I think what you're both referring to is technically called 'English Breakfast' tea [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_Breakfast_tea]. It's a type of 'Black Tea'.

Funnily enough, it's by far the most commonly drunk type of tea in the UK, and yet it's barely ever even seen by most Americans.

OT: I'm a massive Typhoo fanboy, though I'll settle for PG tips, or maybe some Tetley if there's no choice.

Some asked for TEA?
Well here I am!

Seriously, though: Orange Pekoe is my Tea of choice. Bit of sugar, bit of milk.
I drink it every day, and it's how I got my nickname.
I loves me some tea.
