Get her straight into CoD or Battlefield and 1v1 her until she learns how to play. After a few games start to "loose" to her so that she feels like she is getting better.

start it slow. start with simple but fun games and then work up to the harder stuff.

this may sound odd and bizzare...

but it should be like foreplay, with the harder stuff last of course... it shouldn't be difficult... just fun...

oh... and if you don't own a ps3... i suggest getting one. it's got more exclusives than the 360, better balanced and an overall fun system. 360 is too expensive over time and stupid, really ment for the douche-y frat boy demographic.
Wii... it's really ment for little kids, old folks and not really ment for more engaging games.

it depends what she can do, i tried to play Psychonauts, cause it is funny and the idea was me and her workout the puzzles and stuff. This worked crazy well for the first five seconds when she could not work out the wsad keys to move and the mouse to change direction, proofed difficult, so I ended up playing and she told me what to do.
I am thinking of poss ably trying a 2d plat former or move from the pc and play zelda or something similar on the wii.

Games that I know she likes as of yesterday:
Gears
Guitar Hero (I'm too poor for Rock Band atm...)
FF X-2
Kingdom Hearts
Pokemon

Thanks a ton! Honestly I think this helped more than anyone realizes. And for my first thread it didn't turn out half bad ^_^

Start with a game related to something she likes. sports=any sports game, art=drawn to life, music= any rythym game, law= Phoenix Wright, medical= Trauma Center, architecture=sims, and so on.
