We're looking at 11am pacific which is 7pm gmt. What you might want to consider though is that I'm pretty sure the escapist server is in the us, meaning uk players are going to get shitty pings.

Also. Badwater is a bit too buggy for competitive play in my opinion. I'm not fond of well either but I think we need at least one intelligence map and I'm sure as shit not playing 2 fort.


We might consider turbine though.

Maybe people should pick a class to play, and you use that classes stats, or whatever classes they will most likely play. Just a thought.

Once I get TF2, I'll most likely be playing as a Heavy (whilst jumping of course :D) but I'll play each character equally and make my decision if we're forced to choose a specific class.

As far as rules go, perhaps we should disallow the unlockable weapons, since not everyone will have them.

Also, I have a free pass if anyone needs it.

Agreed, not sure how we will do that, but letting any naysayers know, unlocks do NOT determine skill, most people farm them, (myself included) to get weapons.

Same thing about the classes, just have a cap instead of stats because of farming.

Please dont take too much notice of my stats. I dont play it as much as I should, as I foolishly bought the 360 version, then played it to death. Also, its hard to find a good rotating server that is actually what it says it is. Although I do seem to kick ass as a sniper, which surprised me. I normally suck, but ive had something like 10 headshots without dieing. That's godly for my usual track record.

This is about consensus; we should find the spot between hardcore TF2 fans and people who play 'just for fun.' Come to some agreements about the important bits, make sure it works for the majority of people interested in playing, not just the people who play all the time. I suggest a casual theme to the game.

I thik thew rules as they are are casual enough with just enough competitive elements to keep the whole thing fair. I can't stand full tournament rules.

As for the new weapons. I imagine people are going to be choosing their class in advanced based on what they're best at (on that note, some organizational topics for the two teams would come in handy) so the guy who's playing pyro will be a good or at least relatively experienced pyro, meaning he probably has the weapons that matter.

But that being said the new weapons do offer an advantage but they also come with a disadvantage, so it honestly won't make that much of a difference.
