Team Fortress 2 now on mac. Plus, Free Weekend!

Anyone notice how it said "single-player" in the update list?

I would tell you what it's like, but three times Steam has told me the servers are busy, when after half an hour of trying it finally loaded, then my computer crashed. I turn my computer back on, it crashes again on the single-player loading screen.

My PC is currently rebooting itself. I have to leave soon, so I doubt I'll be able to make a thread however.

I figured that much, but dude! It has a scope! What the hell, do we have Sniper-Engies now?

No, that's not a scope, it is not centered (and in fact on the opposite side to what side your body would be) and their is a thing on where the eye would go if it WAS a scope.

I am hoping it will be the "Morgan" (possibly the most popular suggested weapon on the TF2 forums).

Basically a shotgun while being weaker then the normal shotgun in damage output, fire rate, and/or ammo capacity, has the ability to be thrown as an extra mini-sentry that can stick to walls.

I think that scope thing looks more like a launcher or something. Like the engie now has a grenade launcher on his shotgun.

It could be a laser pointer.

Perhaps it ties into a new sentry or something? Laser guided missiles anyone?

I can imagine that. Sort of like those rockets in half life 2.

I just played the training.

I don't have much hope for the bots.

Actually, the in game bots you can spawn are better than that.
In fact, they're better than most of the players you'll meet online.

Especially the Snipers. I haven't met many snipers that can headshot that often and under pressure.

Yeah, the spawnable bots are surprisingly fun to play with. I haven't tried out the training yet though.

I'll wait 'till tomorrow for the immediate rage to die down and for the servers to stabilize.
