Why is this?
Two main reasons.
1) Microsoft don't like letting anyone have anything for free, this conflicts with Valve and their TF2 updtes, which are all free.

2) 360 Hard drive size, the cumulative size of all the updates is into the gigabytes, which makes it prohibitively big to fit in most 360's hard drives withot being the only major thing there.

Valve have apparently persuaded M.Soft to let them put stuff out for free and they are working on optimising (read cutting down) the updates so 360 players can eventually have them. But they have never put a release date on it so for current intents and purposes 360 players are not getting the updates.

Also, why did you not just buy it for PC? You said you were playing it during the free weekend!

Basically Valve have said they haven't forgot about us 360 users and all the updates will be coming to 360 at some point, in one package for free suposedley.

That's simply a lie to placate the unwashed masses of console 'tards.

Valve will never surrender their works! They are meant solely for the glorious PC gaming master race!

Thats got to be bollocks, they're only maps.
No they are not.

They're lot's of maps, class, weapon, animation, graphical, bug fix, sound, game mode and server option updates.

It's a lot of stuff to be installing.

It's still not a problem for the 360, it copes with huge games such as Fallout 3.

I only have to upgrade once every 5 years or so.

You have to buy a new console at about the same rate.

Thus, we can conclude that your argument is malarky.

PS - PCs > consoles. Let the war begin!

On average i replace my PC hardware less often then i replace my consoles. Just because Nvidia comes out with something new every month we don't HAVE to buy it.

Think about it this way. Pay $19.99 for TF2 PC or pay $44.99 for all 9 updates. (If they are each $4.99) If you are making this thread then you have a PC and TF2 can run on a computer from 2002. So ya buy the PC version. Lastly there is a chance that the updates will NEVER come to the 360.
