Team Fortress 2 with Vehicles?

Would TF2 work in a BF2 (Battlefield 2) inspired map with vehicles such as tanks and choppers? or would it ruin the theme and feel of TF2? or do you guys think it would be still fun/more fun?

It would completely change the balance of how the game currently works and so I don't think it would work. However, it could work for a Team Fortress 3 if they mixed up the classes and so on.

For Team Fotress 2? An absolute no >.>, it would essentially destroy what the game is about and the balancing. However read below!

Vehicles? in Tf2? *Whole team switches to DH solly* nope, no problem! There are maybe 2 classes that would stand a chance against vehicles. Playing pyro would royally suck. Spy would suck more, and Medic... yeah, don't even bother playing medic.

Vehicles would ruin the feel of TF2. I never want to see vehicles in a Team Fortress game.

The maps would have to be completely re-done to accommodate vehicles. It's not something I think would work in TF2.
Maybe TF3....

This, basically. In the current TF2, it would cause so many problems (mainly imbalance issues) that it would work better simply as a completely new game.

I would defintely play that :D But yea, no. Not with the current TF2...

Maybe something for TF3 With bigger maps, and new stuff for the classes.

I kid, I kid... But, why couldn't you just add said vehicles to the ordinary maps up? Surely a saucer could be taken down with fire, as it lies in the open, shooting lazer beams.

Or a fuckin' blimp!... Actually, that would be retarded unless it is the said map you are playing on.

I really don't know why they haven't added vehicles. You could make something up, surely, that isn't as OP infringing as all the other vehicles have proven to be in every other damn game.

If it was a tank, you could have Scouts being able to just dance around it with their speed, Sollies and Demos would obviously blow it up, Spies could sap it, Engies could repair it, Pyros could reflect the shells and Heavies could just spam it with their miniguns. The only classes which wouldn't really have any way of working either with or against tanks are Snipers and Medics, although if you made teh tanks open-topped, the Snipers could pick off the driver.

But yeah, no maps are big enough to cope with that really. The classes themselves could probably work with tanks, but the rest of the game not so much.

No it would change all the balancing in TF2, it just wouldn't work but they could make a TF game that wroked with Vehicles.

It might have worked if they stuck with this, but in its current state it would wreak havoc with map design and class balance.
