i have Team Fortress for the X360 i would prefer it on the PC since they dont update that thing if their lives depended on it.. gurs i would love to have the maps from the pc on to the Xbox... ANYWAYS thanks for the update ill check it out
They are updating the 360 version - including all current updates to the PC version,
Chances are they're going to charge for it, I read an article where they said MS was giving them a hard time about free updates.

Thats why valve havent been doing the updates so far... but I heard a rumour that they may do the download for free, but effectively it means Valve are paying Xbox live for every person that downloads it... can't remember where I heard it I'm afraid, possibly the steam forums. But it definately makes sence for valve to do 3 or 4 big patches for xbox then 10 or so mini patches that all have to be paid for either by valve or by the users.

It's true but I wound up rebuying orange box for PC because I wanted to gather all my valve games on one thing and get better/faster/free-er updates for it.

Definately the way to go. I got it on PC as I don't own an xbox, and I've loved every update as its come, especially as they tend to give free weekends on release weekends, thus giving plenty of targets to get the outragous 6 melee kills in one life type out of the way. I can never overly understand fps's on consuls. Not since the days of Goldeneye have I personally owned one, mouse and keyboard are just the way to go.

I do enjoy console shooters as I've played more shooters on them, but I'm not above buying them for PC, I don't care what device it's on, if I can aim/shoot/kill easily enough I'll get it. The only systems that shooters dont' so much work for me are PSP/Wii/DS, fine systems and all but I'm a fan of analog sticks and keys with mice.

I have this crazy idea for a mod class called 'Farmer Jenkins'. He carries a break-action double-barreled shotgun (which is like the normal shotgun, 'cept it takes longer to reload for each shot, and is longer range and hits for more, medium chance of crits. Due to enormous recoil, it makes it impossible to fire it in short range if you have any sense), torch (a stick of wood soaked with oil at the end that he lights with a match. He throws it making a location hazard for about 6 seconds. If anybody steps on it, they are set aflame.) and pitchfork for pitch-forkin'.
The torch would be a grenade though. Maybe he could just throw fish, or chickens.
Or he could grow a patch of corn, which when a teammate eats heals them.

How long does this take? Mines on 10%!
Mines around 35% for about a half hour, go figure.

EDIT: Ah, I can't wait to go all scout on everyone, or maybe heavy (Polar opposites, I know, but I'm good at them). I've heard this is better than the 360 version, plus I remember hearing that if you buy a game with the Source engine, you'll be able to download Black Mesa:Source for free (because its a mod), do this seems like a good game to get.

He only carries 3 torches. Achievable weapon unlocks flint-lock pistol. As accurate as the sniper rifle, one shot at a time, not aimable. Reload is 2.5 seconds.

Yeah. But if he's next to a dispenser on, oh say, dustbowl he could just nade spam the entrances and have unlimited ammo.

If anyone wants to feel better about their own skills, add Fatalis67 and see that someone sucks worse than you.

Since when does a dispenser dispense wood? He only has three torches per life.

I really like this game. It's well balanced so you don't have so many "WTF!" deaths all the time, unlike Halo or CoD4. I just wish that it had a few more jokes so it would just seem a bit more satirical.

Neosage, the problem might be that you have so many programs open. Not sure but that could be the problem. How much ram do you have?
