bet microsoft charge for the guns and maps
Actually, yes. Microsoft charges for free DLC. If I remember correctly, L4D's survival pack wasn't free.
Yeah crash course was 500 points so not worth it for only 2 chapters...

Sorry to disappoint you AnimaWish but I haven't heard any solid information of dlc coming to the XBox 360 versions of TF2. I have heard the usual "We are working on it" from Valve but I doubt anything concrete will actually happen or be said. If possible, it may be a good idea to invest in the PC version of TF2 although I know it would be an inconvenience having already purchased the Orange Box for your 360.

Your Mac has boot camp right? Just pick up a copy of Windows XP or 7 (stay way from Vista) then install the OS onto the mac and boom TF2 on your mac without the need for crappy Direct X emulators.

Yeah... Unfortunately, it'll mean getting Windows XP, Parallels, probably my own computer, and Orange Box again. If I had a PC, it'd be a snap, but my dad doesn't want me to run Windows on our iMac.

Yes indeed.

Unfortunately it's pretty much true. Valve's made no mention of updates for TF2 xbox in many months now and the amount of data that's there in maps, skins, items and so on is massive now. Probabl bigger than most major XBLA titles.

I can't see it coming asa download ever on Xbox. The most likely thing is that it will come out as a physical retail once PC tf2 is 'finished'. Either as an expansion disc or as a Game of the Year style re-release with all the update content included.

But you certainly won't be getting it for free on a Microsoft console.

even then it won't have things like Dodgeball, Prophunt, Balloon racing (AWESOME!), surfing and so on, since that's all the preserve of third party maps and mods.

No one knows. With the limited memory space it's unlikely you'll get them soon. It would be better to get it on PC to be honest.

Considering Valve have yet to make Episode 3, I'd say TF2 updates will be released much longer after Episode 3 comes out. Microsoft will have you pay tons of money for the updates because there are so many now.

TF2 updates are free on the PC.

Xbox Live updates aren't, those are the updates I'm talking about.

Mmmyeah. When I can afford a computer, I'm going to get Team Fortress 2 and all that stuff, but my jobless Freshman butt is stuck with console gaming at this point. D:

Does anyone know about how good Boot Camp in the iMac is? And what kind of security there would be (or need to be) between Mac and PC when using bootcamp?
