MMOs are great for this kind of drama. I've seen RL threats flying around in Barrens chat and the forums of WoW's PvP servers (TK'ing is possible if you're creative about it BTW).

Nothing all that interesting has been said to me, but I did challenge a former GM to a loser leaves the server duel once.

Me and my friend were playing Halo, but we got split. I decided to help out my friend. I didn't technically get a TK but I took down a lot of shields and health. The amount of screaming and ranting that came through the speakers was amazing.
Thats because your Cheating and irriating people who want a competitive fair game.
Fair? Who has heard of this. I go mercenary and kill whomever I like. It is fun and evil.

The worst threat I ever got for team killing was to be given bad rep and filed a complaint against. But in L4D, my friend gaot a meesage saying, "I'm going to hax your account meanie!" That made me crack up

I don't do it, unless its to pay someone back for TKing ME, in which case I get the usual mouthful of harsh words combined with poor grammar, as I laugh off their death / hacking threats I proceed to kill them again and again, until they leave the server, I hope I have made a few people realize threats mean nothing over a conversation in a freaking Online FPS.

once on Halo 3 i was in a ranked CTF game on Avalanche, and i dropped a trip mine in the small room in the middle, to stop the other team from driving vehicles through it. unfortunatly, about 5 seconds later, the rest of my team came through the room in a warthog and two mongooses, and they all got blown away. i was responsible for team-killing (completely by accident) my ENTIRE team in one go.

needless to say i got booted faster than i could apologise, amid a barrage of curses that would probably have made my ears blead, had i been able to hear them

Teamkilling... sigh... I killed a teammate once in Halo 3 because the six-year-old (literally, he was six) started killing me for taking the sniper. I killed him twice, then he left and spammed me with messages. I politely sent him a message back addressing his parents saying that he needed to learn how to play games before going online with them. As well as saying that the game was rated mature and that anyone who let their six-year-old son play a game like that seriously needed to rethink their parenting choices. I kept tabs on the kid for another two weeks. He didn't come online anymore.
You sir are a god amongst us mortals.I would not have the stamina to type that message on my xbox. Unless you were using the chatpad. Still freaking epic even if you did use the chat pad.
this -is- actually pretty hilarious xD

Left 4 Dead ahh the memories. I am by no means a Team Killer by nature (only tk with the safety of complete morons or friends) but yeah. Most of my direct TKs are retaliatory strikes for killing me. My main way though is to run to the safehouse and leave my previously horrible team to their fate at the hands of a tank/horde. So I mostly get called a wuss and a pansy, or some other swear for weak, but hey if you can't survive on advanced with three people with the safehouse in sight, that's your problem.

Crash your Xbox? how does he plan on doing that.
When I team kill its an accident, but I usually have some 8 year old kid shouting in my ear, telling me all the sickening things he's going to do to my mum... you know, the usual.
I think some where along the line we all,if not most of us, meet one of those 8 year old kids who shouts in to his mic, telling me all the sickening things he's going to do to our mum... Thank goodness for the Mute Button,do these people think they are playing a video game or at a rap battle.
When I team kill its an accident as well, mostly its self defense from these people. After the game I put them on my avoid this player list, and send them bad feedback(if I'm not in a good mood).

I'm one of those people that when I accidently shoot my teammate in a game I say "Sorry" out loud on instinct, even if I don't have my mic.

However, I killed someone on my team on accident, and they told me they were going to "ruin me."
I do that too. I honestly feel bad when I shoot a teammate, especially if I kill them. ._.

Unless they're a dick, then I don't really care much.
The online world needs more people like us.
Accidents still happen even online, but at least you said "my bad","sorry",or something that tells that person you didn't mean it.

Once in Gears of war 1 i was hosting a player match on rooftops and some kid was whining about not getting the sniper. He just stood there saying "Come on i'm an awsome shot i could do way better then you."

I replied back saying "I'm 9 and 2 your 3 and 7 do the math." then he threatend to have his brother ban me becuase he works at microsoft. I just laughed said "buddy just becuase your brother is a janitor at microsoft dosent mean he will be able to ban me" and booted him.

I always enjoy doing that. Which is why I don't get upset when I get stuck on a team with someone else doing it.

Not really a TK, but playing GMOD hoverboard some dude called "rick astley" came online and started rickrolling people. I waited until he got to the edge of the "BigAir" ramp (think skijump), shot his board with the "remove" tool, he dropped to the floor, hit the edge of the ramp going pretty fast, died and ragdolled across the map.

I got a 3 day server ban :(

hahah! nice one!!!

for the purpose on contributing, i once teamkilled this little kid because he kept screeching even after i politely asked him to stop... (the others yelled at him which might have antagonised him.. but ah well..) he then proceeded to spew at me a stream of profanities that only a child can come up with.. the usual, the C word F word N word etc.. i then heard his mother start yelling from the backround and he left the game, i checked his profile and my guess is his mother turned his xbox off..

oh and if anyone cares the game was COD:4

Everyone team kills now and again, if there is friendly fire then it happens. People who go out of their way to team kill are arse holes. Play a private match if you want to do that.

One of the few improvements on WaW over COD4 is that you are kicked after 3 team kills. It cuts down on the douchebaggery.

Although if you are holding a bouncing bettey you can TK with the knife and not get kicked.

That's win

I avoid teamkilling but when I do it I get to hear the usual "NOOB" and "WTF".
