I've exhausted every solution the surface web has to offer. Trying to download the ten day free trial for World of Warcraft (Yes i know it's a black hole that absorbs life). Literally have no other forums i can ask questions onto, so apologies.

Usually it'll load a tiny way then say "Estimated period 500 minutes" or something ridiculous then freeze and tell me i need to close all applications, which i've done to no improvement. All the specific ports for WoW are open, firewalls turned off and on, allowed access from the downloader.

Besides the gaming it's impossible to watch Zero Puncutation but i expect that's an entirely different problem, possibly. It all seems to be something connection-wise but on the surface it seems my computers connection is fine and have no problem downloading with anything related to Bitorrent and Steam.

Any advice or list of possible solutions i could try out would be dandy, if you're looking for specs for whatever reason i have them right here:

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Language: English (Regional Setting: English)
System Manufacturer: Acer
System Model: Aspire 5740
BIOS: Ver 1.00PARTTBL
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU M 430 @ 2.27GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.3GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 3956MB RAM
Page File: 2769MB used, 5141MB available

Sorry if i've enraged any techies with my illiteracy with computers and you're welcome to throw verbal stale tomatoes at me. THANKEE.

You may find a quick fix in shutting down the peer to peer capabilities of the downloader.

This may sound like a bit of a cop out, but have you tried restarting your modem? I was getting some weird connection issues in Crysis 2 until I restarted mine and now it works fine.
