I doubt the reason people didn't read your article wasn't because there was a lot of words, more because the writing style as a whole doesn't flow and is therefore difficult to read in the first place. You hold a rather controversial opinion that seems almost on the verge of trolling, especially some of your comments within that thread - so why would people bother to read through an overly long (as in it was padded), poorly written (style-wise) article bashing a game they like?
This video holds a similar problem in that those robot voices are difficult to hear, and not exactly pleasant to listen to for any kind of sustained time period; the fact they cannot show emotion means the voices become repetitive and it all blends into itself. If there were subtitles it might be easier to watch, but otherwise I'm not going to torture my ears to hear your opinion on something I've already played...
