Things that went through my mind while watching this:
Wolfs don't where collars.
If they wanted to be wolves, they wouldn't have hair that length.
Having a beard would probably increase their wolfiness by 18%.
The guy actually makes a little sense when he says everybody got something inside of them (I assume he means animals, and I'm sure more than few know why this makes sense in the slightest)
One of the guys is wearing cat's eye contact lenses.

I'm just tired of being associated with people like this when I wear black (or emos or mall-goths or "vampires" for that matter)
Yeah, same here. I'm just a big fan of black, and also skulls. I, however, love life and have a generally positive outlook on it.... until some douche calls me a goth or an emo, despite the fact that the black shirt I'm wearing is a Phil Collins t-shirt.

/sighs heavily

Explain to me how people with ridiculous clothing, insane amounts of make-up, poser hair-dos and tails are not attention seeking.

van helsing and twilight mentioned in teh same sentence. God. Damn. It.
Replace Van Helsing with Blade, and we have THIS as a result:

How that movie should have ended.

But TBH, that's really sad, and even a facepalm won't cover how ashamed I am of that part of humanity.

Well, it's certainly wierd but hey if they enjoy doing it let them be I say.

I mean I've dedicated myself completely to an online persona of a member of the Sangheili race sent to destroy humanity, it would be a little hypocritical for me to say to this Wolf Pack:
"Hey, you guys are wierd!"

Point is, sometimes people just like being part of a group and they get along from common interest. It's just a wierd part of growing up for our very strange generation.

That's just goth. Goth and Emo.
no its not, and let it be VERY clear that goth =/= emo.
emo is goth without the committment... similar music interests, same clothes, just less white and black make-up.

and they shop at the same store:

...

Goth is about as different from emo as jocks are, and no, they DONT shop at the same stores, real goths loathe hot topic, along with anyone who isnt a complete poser asshole, the emo kids and the scene kids are the only ones who go there, and they only do it because others do, Goths share NO musical interest with emos and if you actually cared to read into this before spouting random words, you might know that.

Goth = The Cure/The Smiths/Sisters of Mercy

Emo = My Chemical Romance/Panic at the Disco/newer green day

go listen and tell me they are even CLOSE to being similar.

EDIT:
PRO-TIP: You didnt hear this from me, if someone says they are goth, or someone else calls them goth, THEY ARE NOT GOTH. Being goth is about avoiding labels, and I only assigned the goth label to the above bands to prove a point, so dont try to get me on that one. Emo is about being emotionally open and pesimistic, goth is about not being anything but yourself.
Pretty much everything you said sums that up. A Goth kid never calls himself a Goth. Others may, but they'd never say they were. Goth kids tend to have some real issues in their life and thats how they deal with it.

As for the kids with the tails and stuff, eh, I dont care. Let em do what they want, though I adivse them to get some actual wolf tails. As of now they're Racoons or Tanuki's or something. I didnt really give a damn about fitting in in High School. I had my friends, we played games together. I was happy.

exactly. so if we have Twilight (*spit*) vamp kids and weve got were-kids too, when are we getting Van Helsing punks, or Buffy cheerleaders? and will we get zombie-kids, or mummy-children...should we wait for the next jk rowling or stephenie meyer to cute-alise or just accept that well never be free of these cretins? take the hardline approach; burn your local fancy dress shops with all these fools inside, of course

Who wants to bet that in about a year, 75 or more percent of these kids move on to whatever is cool. Vampires are warn out because they have been in the for front of pop media, so they think it's 'original' to be like this.

Ultimately, I say it's harmless (with the exception of Mr. Dogskull) and as long as they stick with reality at the proper times, they'll be fine. I do have to wonder sometimes if all these "groups" would be forming if the school activities of the past where still about. Back then the school groups mostly revolved about what they did at school, now a days, it more closely fallows made up social markers that revolve about some attention wanting dressing.

On a side note... I know that there's hundreds people out there I was in high school with that are thinking of me if they see that report. When I was in school, I would randomly howl just our of boredom, this included in the school halls. Was I being weird with this, yes, did I care, nope (though it did make many in the school think I was rather psychotic, a plus since I just didn't want to be bothered). Even with that, I knew when to not be an oddball and did as I should, so no one bothered me about it.

That video was like an ad for what an insecure sense of self can lead to.

I feel sorry for them, it's a shame that they are so desperate for attention and a sense of belonging that they feel like they have to go to these lengths to get it.

It's pitiful really.

But, at least I feel a little better about myself, I mean, I am not a delusional teen who wear bits of toys, some lenses, imagines that I am part animal, and am thoroughly convinced that the losers around me actually give a shit about me rather than the appeal of getting attention in a group. No matter how bad my life gets, at least I will never be those kids.
