Don't think for a second that Wimmins are alone in that. Me and my group of friends are primarily male and that's happened to me a few years ago.

Fortunatly, the core of this group (including me) have all known eachother since we were 4 years old. We eventually kicked him out, but there appears to be no hard feelings.

But that's men for you. Beating the shit out of eachother 1 minute, drinking beer together the next (obviously not what happened in my situation, but being a manly man is seemed appropriate).
Yeah, this girl had very clear hard feelings.
Or atleast I think that's what it was. She pretty much just hung around quietly, never speaking to anyone and looking torn between sulky and murderous.

I was a little frightened.

To me, thats the difference between teenage guys and girls.

Girl friends will "break up" with each other over wearing the same shirt, but two guy friends?

They'll go to shang-hai and fight mercenary's together.

As a teenager who not only has a younger teenage sister, but also finds himself dating many of these same terrifying individuals, I propose that, instead of attempting to discover an explanation, we just place all of them on an isolated island where they can rip each other to shreds while they work out their teenage hormonal angst. Sure, I'd miss my girlfriend terribly, but it's overall just not worth it

That seems perfectly appropriate to me.

First, I have to admit that I didn't understand that mix-up from the first post and who bitched who. It happens to me often when some unlucky girl tries to talk to me about similar problems and I end up staring at her like an retard because I didn't understand a thing. I usually use the stock answer like "Everything will be fine". It's probably because I never had many girlfriends and I usually hanged around with boys (thankfully). Hanging around with boys is so much easier, funnier and simpler; with girls, you never know where are you at. One day they might be your best friends, and the next somehow you end up being public enemy number one. It is actually amazing; most of the times you'll never even find out what is that you did wrong. The only girls I can hang around with are the ones that like to hang around with boys more, like me.

Now, the reason for that sly, cunning nature in women? Dunno. Maybe because women were always suppressed, and had no means to actually make an impression or to influence someone publicly; we could do it only in secret, behind the screen. So we learned to use sly methods to fight because we had no choice and we certainly couldn't make things right by applying violence. We had to work with mindfuck, carefully, not to be exposed, setting plots and cunning traps secretly, making sure that nobody will ever find out you did it.

Nowadays, pressure, competition and expectations can lead girls into all kinds of crazy stuff. I won't say that boys don't experience things like pressure, competition and expectations too, but it seems to be more traumatic and crazy-behaviour inducing for girls (telling a girl that she's fat can make her turn to extreme measures more likely than it will turn a boy to the same measures). So, it might sound retarded, but people actually have to be nice to teenage girls and let them know that no gossip or a stupid friend is worth turning into a *****.

And yeah, sometimes it is really embarrassing to realize that I belong to that gender >.>

So my little sister came in today close to tears. What had happened at school, you wonder? The typical "Bitchy Teenage Girls Falling Out" scenario.

Friend A reputadly told Friend B that my Sister slagged her off. My sister is not. Immediatly, it is obvious that Friend A is a coniving *****, but this is not apparant to the "Teenage Girl". Friend B falls out with my Sister, Sister gets upset.

Sister has been berated by mum because she's being a stupid wet blanket (mum didn't use that language, but the meaning was there). Sister has called Friend B to ask what happened, they agree that Friend A made it up. then called Friend A to find out why.

Friend A tells her (as near as I can make it out) that it was actually *Insert random Boy's name here* who said it, and for some reason Friend B misunderstood that boy for my sister. A normal human being can tell that Friend A is a spiteful ***** AND a bad liar

Sister tells Friend B that Friend A "wants to be friends with both of us, but it would be really hard if they weren't friends. B and Sister have seemingly made up in a tearful way.

It's sickening and it's dumb, but WHY is it here?

Teenage Boys just punch each other and big themselves up, but there's no subtlety in that. Teenage Girls seem to live around a perpetual cycle of "Befriend, *****, Break Up, Make Up" for seemingly no reason. Near as I can tell, Friend A seems to be doing this either for some sick, cheap thrill or because she wishes her life was more like a crappy TV show.

What experiences, commentaries and observations do you have on the "Teenage Girl" disposition?
Oh...You have NO Idea sir.

My sister last year had this war with these group of girls and actually decided to skip all the name calling and just flat out beat the crap out of them.

My old man told us to get straight to the point, and he meant that in all wakes of life.

The female of the species is far more frightening than the male.

Basically, when men have beef with each other they'll either start fighting or avoid each other.
When women have beef with each other, they try and make the other person's life a living hell. It is almost like their goal is to cause the other one to kill herself.

A world run by women would be a scary place indeed.
The world is ran by women my good man, we are just unaware of it.

I - very luckily,I may add - have a friend who is completely illogical so if one of agrues with each one, it's settled down immediately. And besides that, there's not even really a hint of drama in our lives - thank god. Just street away from it and you'll all be good.

Yeah, this is quite a common occurrence for teenage girls. It's really annoying too.

On a side note, what is "Slagged her off" supposed to mean?

I think I'm the only one in this thread who finds plotting and pointless cruelty attractive.

I love it when girls plot against others, especially if the plot is complicated and difficult to grasp.

EDIT: I've always thought it the mark of a clever mind.
True, it is clever to make unnecessarily complicated plans just to achieve one minor, and cruel goal, but it's also not going to get you anywhere unless you plan to be a warlord. Or a journalist.

It's theorized that we can never learn the answer to that, because if we ever did the universe would collapse and be replaced by something even stranger.

Its always high school.

That means that this stupid phenomenon isn't just for teenage girls. It happens in offices, at family reunions among grandparents, and everywhere in between.
Huzzah for not actually ever going to high school and being a recluse then, my days are almost entirely drama free.

I'd say entirely drama free, but there's still stupid work related drama where they'll deign to tell us (the support staff) about things like office moves, but they feel they have to keep it secret from everyone actually moving until the last minute so we know we need to move things weeks ahead of time but we're not allowed to tell anyone they need to be ready for it blargh!, or other examples of retarded 'office politics'. At least my boss and I have the same low opinion of stuff like that, so I have somebody to quietly boggle at stupidity with.

Unsurprisingly the bulk of those 'decisions' came from women.

This thread illustrates the point why I stayed FAR away from a large amount of people in High School, and eventually found myself hooked up with a group of people alike to me. People that just enjoy having a good time, doing well in class, and all around just trying to make things as pleasant as possible. I never had to deal with the raging insanity of teenage girls during my time in High School.

Middle School... was another story, but that story is over. I know how to play their games, but I don't like doing it at all because of what some of the things I ended up doing. Moral is? Stay clear away from the people who like to scheme and play games with others, be they teenage girls, adult troublemakers, or really anyone else like that. You either get seriously hurt, become a monster yourself, or some combination of the two like where I ended up.

Is the quote you're looking for (if you are indeed quoting, if not, you have my sincerest apologies): "The female of the species is more deadly than the male"

OT: It's typical, ignore it. It's all part of their life.

I live with my mom and sister (thanks dad :D) so I deal with this drama often.
After a while you get used to it but trust me it's is very annoying.
Espically when they start fighting and then take it out on me.
What did I do? Simple, i'm a man in a woman's world.

You missed out, man. Just kidding. I hated every second of high school until I found a girlfriend halfway through my senior year. Low self-esteem is a nightmare. I wish I could do high school over again though. Were you home schooled?

Also, bravo for making that controversial last sentence. I agree with your point, but some people like to take offense to things just for its own sake.
