Heath Ledger ad-libbed the scene where the Joker walks out of the exploding hospital in The Dark Knight.

They say of the Acropolis - where the Parthenon is - that there are no straight lines.

Bats aren't blind.

The breakdown of alcohol by liver alcohol dehydrogenase is a zeroth order reaction, which in layman's terms means there is no way to sober yourself up quicker. Giving a drunk person caffeine will simply result in said drunk waking up a little.

P&O Ferries. P&O stands for Peninsula & Oriental, yet they are a cross-channel ferry service between Britain and France, to the best of my knowledge.
well, they may do some others, but when do they go to any oriental place?

There is a moon around Saturn (at least i think its saturn, it could be uranus or neptune). There is a moon around one of the gas giants that looks exactly like the death star.

Turns out I'm not really a human being at all, I actually really am a Sangheili. Actually most people have probably already guessed this by now so I'll mention something else:
The average human produces 25,000 quarts of spit in a lifetime... enough to fill two olympic swimming pools.

Poland never actually officially surrendered in World War Two, the government was gone before the Nazis could make them.

Marlboro is the most valuable brand name in the world.

Greeks are from Greece.

That's all I can think of for now.

Jaffa cakes aren't biscuits, they're actual cakes. They go soft when stale.
I already knew that from the name even though some still consider them buscuits.
Also funny because i opened one that was a week old and it was rock solid though still tasted nice and crunchy. I prefer them fresh and soft because then they taste like cakes.

'The Surgery', a radio show where Aled Hayden Jones talks to people about illnesses or troubles. Has recieved more 'pick of the week's than the Chris Moyles show.
Much to the annoyance of Chris, as Aled works on his show as well.

The amount of water released from a rainstorm, when doubled by 4 then divided by 0.5 is equal to the energy that can be produced from V1 solar cells in the sunlight after (L vs. H obviously).

Erhm, that's a lie.

The film "The Day After Tomorrow" shares its name with a 1975 television special, an O.C. episode, a J-pop band and a Tom Waits song. The novel "Sixth Column" by Robert Heinlein had the alternative title "The Day After Tomorrow".

Perry King and Kenneth Walsh (the guys who played the president and vice president of the United States of N-America in the movie) were cast because of their resemblance to George Bush and Dick Cheney.

...Sorry, just saw the movie on DVD xP
