In Nottingham, England, it is legal for you to kill an Scottish man if he has a bow and arrow.
Thats nonsense. Unless he attacks you with it murder isn't legal.
Its not Nottingham it's actually within the old city walls in York.

No foreigner knows the meaning of the word: gezelligheid. The most well known Dutch word is: Apartheid.
I guess you'e talking about Geselligkeit, aren't you?

The famous empress Elisabeth of Austria-Hunagary had an anchor tattooed on her arm.
Oh ho? Is there by any chance you live close to the Netherlands?
well i guess its less than 1 hour from here, yeah.
That explains it. A Dutchman only needs to talk in dialect and a German would be baffled at how well he can speak German. There is this grey area of language between the borders of Germany and The Netherlands.

What if it's not a right angle triangle? What if A or B is the Hypotenuse?
Qualifying statements man!
Your questions... I-I... I really don't know what you mean! I'm bad at math and now I get that ridiculous jargon in English, too!

Did you know there's only one legal sex position in Pennsylvania?
You're saying that they CHECK these positions?! That's absurd! Although considering some positions might give some physical problems afterward. But only one? It has to be pretty exciting there in Pennsylvania. (pencilvainia?)

This formula has been hammered in our heads at high school! Yet we never see any situation when we need it!

Well, it's incredibly useful for calculating measurements on a right angled triangle, which comes up a lot in engineering or maths or whatever. It's one of those base rules like a/sina = b/sinb that's just incredibly useful to know in many problems with geometry.

I study Animation yet I want to be an aspiring Game Designer. I don't see any use of this formula at all!

Did you know that the Bay of Fundy, off the coast of Nova Scotia, (near where I live) has the worlds highest and lowest tides? Twice every 24 hours the water level rises and falls over 30 feet!!

In Team Fortress 2, The Scout gets 2 points for killing a Medic that is healing a target.

Not exactly interesting but certainly useless.

That second one is actually wrong... at least I think it was proven wrong! ;)
You are correct, good ol' snopes!

OT: Dwarf Fortress' difficulty curve is an asymptote.
