-I'm 18, 6'1" and hail from merry old England.

-Gaming wise I'm damn good at all first person shooters on console and Guitar Hero.

-I play bass guitar in a couple of local bands (I'm no Les Claypool but I'm good enough).

-I enjoy "socialising" far too much, as my abused liver will testify.

-I'm a generally kind and polite person, probably too much so for my own good in some cases...

-I'm not shy at all but certain past experiences have left me with pretty low self confidence.

-I LOVE metal music, I would go mental without it to listen to.

-I HATE chavs, and everything to do with them.

-I have a small circle of people I could actually call friends that I could really trust and I have a good laugh with, quite a few I would rather refer to as acquaintances, and one or two people I still hang out with that are total dicks.

-I'm starting Uni soon, doing a course in Biomedical Science, but then I'm not sure what to do after that.

Edit: -I consider myself a bit of a film buff as well, and love the cinema.

And I think that's me in a nutshell.

Hah! I have something unique.

-I have extremely long dreams...I'm serious, when other people mention how they've done like 5 things during a dream, I can barely remember the first part DURING the middle part of my dreams. Think of completing a RPG every time you wake up (the times that I do remember that I dreamed that night); except with more wierdness, RTS elements, and more problem solving.

I have a secret obsession with hemorrhagic fevers and weapons.

And like long, romantic walks on the beach...by myself.

Let's see. I love gaming and good war movies, weetabix with chocolate spread on it and laughing at other peoples mistakes. I hate being laughed at for my mistakes, really can't take being humiliated and despise anyone who causes such things apon my good person. Seriously, I would hunt them down and stuff them full of chocolate weetabix until they suffocated.

Who can really say no to naked women? I can't... well, I'm too busy staring to talk, but I still can't.

I enjoy playing games, listening to music of various kinds, watching various game related humour items on the Internet and trying to imagine a way of telling people they're stupid in such a way that they can't disagree.

I'm from sunny Blighty, where you can sometimes see the sky.

Born in, and currently reside somewhere in London.

I play FPSes, altogether too many. Despite being crap at them. And strangely gifted at F-Zero GX...

I play electric guitar AND bass. Both awfully.

I think I'm schizophrenic, but I'm afraid to tell anyone who can do anything about it because they might give me pills.

I can speak Chinese.

And French. And some Spanish.

I have terrible insomnia. Because of this I get depressed when I see a sunrise, as I didn't wake up early especially to see it.

Either I drink far, far too much or none at all.

Rock, metal, and...no, that's it. But I love them both. And I'm a massive Disturbed fan.

Harvey, 5'8, 18 year old Michiganian. Southern southeastern part if it helps.

I am told that I am very polite and very well mannered by almost everyone I meet so I guess I am.

I have aspergers syndrome and a very strong history of clinical depression on both sides of my family tree so no surprise I too have clinical depression.

Daydreaming is a favorite activity of mine when I can't play my games.

When I was young watching animal documentaries was my favorite pastime (2nd to Godzilla movies). My mom also once told she thought I had something wrong with me, because starting at age 4 I would watch the evening news with my grandparents.

My natural academic talents lean towards history and politics followed by science and writing (I bomb at math).

I have basically no friends because 1. My former best friend and my friends that hung out with him began talking about me behind my back and 2. The others have moved away. As a result of number 1 mostly I am very uneager to make new ones. I also am very timid in social situations and don't like interacting online (I just feel I need to be able to see a persons facial expressions and body language for me to have a good chance of making a bond at all). Not to mention my aspergers doesn't help matters.

I have blue eyes, brown hair, and Raynaud's Syndrome.

I hate my brother, enjoy the comedy of Lewis Black, and really wish I had made a greater effort to be sociable when I was younger, as I currently am terribly bored.

I listen to all manner of melodic metal, am teaching myself to play the bass, am left-handed, and enjoy philosophy.

I have a friend who plays guitar in a band of which I am very fond. Also, he has a hot girlfriend. I am jealous of him.

I am a conservative who does not want to be associated with the Republican Party, got a 5 on the A.P. American History test, and is actually sort of satisfied with life.

Cool.

Bah. So I put "England" without thinking. Forums are hard. :)

Kafka on the shore was a great book! I just kind of bought it on a whim a while back...I love Murakami's writing style. Very different from most of the fiction I have read. I actually just bought another of his books: The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle and plan to read that while on vacation this week.
