I have a joint honours degree in Biochemistry and chemistry and I am currently working as a microbiologist, so I have a strong science background which I am quite proud of. Ugh, I feel like I am bragging now.

It's awful, isn't it?

No matter what you type, it feels as though you're basically saying "I'm so great, look at me, aren't I fantastic?" :D

These things always make me feel so big-headed...but here goes!
I like that I can get on with anyone. Seriously, it was pointed out to me by a friend of mine who noted that I could not walk more than 5 minutes in any direction without someone waving to me or saying hello.
I then realised that I have friends in every single 'group' there is, which is something.
A big part of this is that people tend to feel cheered up simply by being around me (Oh my god that sounds so vain) due to the fact I tend to bounce between "Eeyore and Tigger" as a friend put it.

Thats pretty impressive did you go do a bit of everest? How did you manage to do it. Did you do it through cadets or something?
Thanks! Yeah, it was a cadets thing. We didn't do Everest, sadly (afaik, you have to plan those trips years in advance now as it's so popular). We did the Baba Pass trek (not commercially like in the link though), among other things.
thats still really cool. The closest ive came to that was hiking the highest mountain the lake district and camped at the top. We had spent the week there with work as an outward bound "team building" exercise. A lot of people didnt enjoy it but I loved it and I was getting paid to do it. Its hard (especially when you have to carry other peoples stuff because they are struggling) but at the same time its really good

I probably sound vain for saying this but I liked that I still got a youthful face.... for now. I'm 27 and people still never guess my age right since they think I'm still in my early 20's or even 18 a couple of times!
Beards are your friend. I like to have a bit of "designer stubble" (I dont like it too long). Im 21 and look like 24 with the facial hair but without it I look really young. Unless of course you want to look younger that is

This happens to me all the time. Ive been known to be walking down a city ive never visited before and meet someone I know. This has happened on a few occasions. I went to nottingham to visit a friend from uni as we were in the city centre (which id never visited before) I bumped into one of my best buddies from work

I have sexy, sexy calves. They are toned and skinny for no good reason - Lily from HIMYM would drop Marshall in a heartbeat if she laid eyes on them.

But in all seriousness, probably my uncompromising open-mindedness and honesty, the latter of which I've made a point of sustaining to the best of my ability in any given setting.

An easier question would be what don't I like about myself. Not in a narcissistic way, rather in a generally contented way. The main point for improvement would be ability to chat with people at length. I just find it difficult to talk about nothing.

I'm good at arty type stuff, and music. Friends tend to come to me when they want tattoos designing, and I help my friend out by doing pixel art for his ludum dare entries, that kind of thing.

Plus I rock a three-piece suit ^-^

My hair is awesome. Despite all the dying I do to it, it's in really good condition and it's nice, thick and wavy. I usually just brush it unless I'm going out then I'll do something like backcomb or curl it. It's also bright red and I get loooads of compliments on it.
I have a pretty good sense for fashion too. I hand make all my own cosplays and think I pull them off pretty well.

Personality wise, I'd say I'm really kind and caring especially to those I love. I'm honest and down to Earth which people either love or hate but they always come to me for advice and opinions so at least people find it useful.

However my flaws vastly outweigh all of that. :D

I am very open minded in regards to culture. I'm often complimented by a lot of my foreign friends for being willing to eat almost anything once and generally accepting there are more ways than the post-Judeo Christian Democratic Capitalist cultures.

I'm very clean, and dare I say it, not too bad looking either.

I tend to be able to turn my hand to anything I want, and quickly manage to put together a pretty damn good attempt at it; I pick things up quickly (although if I can't, I tend to drop them quickly as well).

My Chinese is starting to get very good, and it will only get better.

My priorities have gotten a lot better, with work and love being highest, and then gaming, painting and hobbying being last. I've also learned to just drop stuff that bothers me and I don't need to concern myself with.

Last week, I was walking in town and saw an old woman struggling with the stairs. I helped her up the stairs and carried her bags for her as well. And people tend to stop and ask me for directions, so I must look nice.

I have been told by multiple people I have a talent for teaching, and a good enthusiasm. And my writing is good enough that I am now getting paid for it part-time.

My eyes are my best feature. And the fact that I'm loyal as hell if I decide your worthy enough to be a friend.

then again I'm kinda fat and it overshadows everything else.

You lie. You have no flaws. And your hair is amazing as are your cosplays.

I actually took a lot of time as a kid to study music theory and applications to modern music, and I feel it's given me a strong base as a blossoming music nerd.

Something I like about myself....

I don't know really, I guess I'm a big softy under my façade of being quite stern and serious, so I like it when people are surprised when they get to know me a bit better.

Even though i pretty much hate everything about myself, from my disgusting physique, my crooked teeth and the rest of my face. My inability to communicate with other people, my innate shyness and awkwardness (which isn't always noticeable on the internet)...
What i like about myself.. Probably my patience - The fact that i can wait for hours on end, that i can concentrate and get work done, even if it takes the whole day. But not sure it's a completely positive aspect, if you give me a couple of hours i think i can come up with, why it's awful.

That I won't live forever, so one day I shall stop plaguing this world with my presence! :D

Negativity caused by deepening depression aside, uh...

I'm pretty funny, I guess. Good sense of humour, can easily make people laugh, so I seek to do it whenever possible.
And I suppose I'm fairly laid back and chill in my personality, and I like that I'm friendly and able to get along with most people.
