by any chance do you happen to be this guy

Edit: you cant sneak up on me. One of my weirdest skills is that I get this shiver down my back when someone is behind me. Its like a really weird sixth sense. Since it is basically a tingle I think its a spidey sense that and ive got pretty sharp reflexs and can pick on small movements. Im like a predator, I only respond to movement

Hmmm...

No... No, I'm fairly sure I would know if I'm a suave assassin with a barcode on my neck, but then again, stranger things have happened to me. :D

Its just that you said your job involved picking out noises and sneaking up on people. Either that or you are a perfume ninja that works in a department store

Edit: if you dont know what a perfume ninja is they are a secret society that have trained for many years. They work in department stores usually by the door and are masters of surprise. They will target a victim, leap out of nowhere and spray them with a perfume then disappear out of sight. Usually you dont know youve been a victim until you walk out the store noticing a fragrant aroma

Dear God, I loathe those perfume people with every fiber of my being! Damn them and their puff bottles that cause me to not breath properly for hours! DX

But no, no, my job is way cooler than that. I'm an audio engineer and I dabble in sound design from time to time. I make and help carry sweet sweet music to people's ear holes. :D

I have been complemented for being a fast shooter at the airsoft field. Once saved a group of four from this guy trying to rush us from the side, spotted him in my periferal and only fired two shots, first went to his torso and second to his head. Also had an instance where I quickly had to turn around while lying on my belly, so I turned to lay on my back and shot my would-be killer with my gun between my legs and the buttstock on my chest. All in a fraction of a second.

I also do these small plays in a group of four people, two of wich are a bit younger teens and one of those two even studies to become a professional actor. His dad gave him the advice to pay attention to what I did on stage because I had this knack for "looking very convincing and natural". When he asked me how I did I couldn't give him a straight answer, I guess it's experience or just me.

There, those were the most recent moments some of my good qualities shone.

I'm open-minded, loyal to my friends, and good at making people laugh. As for my work ethic, I'm not much of a self-starter, but if others are relying on me to do something, then I will get it done. In regards to honesty, I'm not saying I'll never lie, but when I explicitly give my word on something, I hold myself to it strictly.

I'm not used to this kind of unrestrained positivity, OP. Do you have any idea how hard it is not to type something self-deprecating to balance it out? ;P

I'm a scientist.
I like that I'm doing research at the graduate level and living my childhood dream. I'm glad that my studies have paid off and that a lot of students are enjoying me as a teacher as well. I've heard from others that I can explain scientific theories well to the layman.
My mother has told me on many occasions that I'm the most honest person she's ever met. I tend to uphold that to the highest degree.
I'm also modest about acknowledging what good things I can do. However I do like the fact that I've gotten where I've wanted to be in terms of drawing skill.
No facial hair on me = Short male of Norwegian decent with a dash of feminine. I feel like it suits me a lot.

Also I'm *somewhat* glad that I can pull off a decent crossplay. :3

I'm a determined skeptic, towards both myself and the world around me, rarely ever accepting any piece of knowledge at face value as a fact (although, I suppose to some people, this can be seen as both a good and a bad thing, because it also means I'm harshly critical towards myself (and to some other people, it's a bad thing because fedoras and euphoria and other bullshit that is, in my opinion, unfairly co-opted with the label "skeptic" because of the embarrassing and shameful actions of a handful of people calling themselves skeptics)). I'm always trying to juggle a thousand ideas at once, listening to a lecture or podcast about one thing while reading an article or essay about something completely unrelated, and being capable of fully comprehending both. Thanks to the magic of the internet, I have an in-depth understanding of the history of video games, but that doesn't really help me that much, it's mostly just some fun trivia. I have a seriously badass set of long, dark hair that girls have very often on occasion asked to play with (not in the kinky way, unfortunately). Aside from that, I'm a lazy, condescending, pseudo-intellectual who thinks he's a super-genius just because he doesn't like bending over for "the man".

Its easy to say that you suck because you dont give yourself an expectation. Its also a weird part of human nature that we dwell on our flaws so much that we dont notice the good points. I dont see why its a bad thing to be proud. Yes arrogance is a bad thing but pride (and even arrogance in small doses) can be good

I'm resilient, creative, and a fast learner. If I had a work ethic, I'd have either cured cancer or enslaved the world by now.

It's awful, isn't it?

No matter what you type, it feels as though you're basically saying "I'm so great, look at me, aren't I fantastic?" :D
It's even better when you have a sense of deep-seated self-loathing.

A thread where you talk about your positives? Oh shit.

I've only got one, I'm way more of a caring individual than people give me credit for. I'm pretty sure most people think I'm an uncaring asshole who thinks he's superior to other people and I resent that assumption. Crushing cynicism and fear just tends to overshadow that.

I enjoy my sassy/sarcastic/cynical attitude to people who annoy me. It allows me to dislike someone without them realising that I dislike them.

That and I am ginger. I like being ginger.

I'm quite caring and passionate. If I have a cause, a reason to care, or something that I am emotionally invested into, I really get invested.

*STORY TIME* I ended up practically being a parent figure for someone who had a really tough home life, and took his own crap (Due to being kind of messed up) for nearly 5 years (With some long breaks in-between, so maybe 3 years of constant time) all because I felt I was the one he could count on.

Sadly, because I have such a heart, it does tend to wear on me. These days I tend to close myself off from sad tales due to being too depressing for me to handle (Having spent so long enduring someone else's hardships). But, I can say for certain that it is a trait I am very proud of. It makes me feel good knowing I've helped someone just by hearing them out or helping them~

My choice to remain celibate. Best decision I ever made.

...

But since everyone else seems to think that's a BAD thing, I'll throw in my writing ability. Apparently, I'm very good at writing essays and other works in a way that draws the reader in, and glues their eyes to the page. Or so I'm told by complete strangers.

I was just joking, I actually wholeheartedly agree with your point and the generally philosophy of this thread. I often act as a counselor of sorts for some of my friends, and I've offered them that same advice in the past. Sometimes it really is just necessary to consciously acknowledge your good qualities.

I guess my best feature is that I'm just decisively average in every aspect...

I'm not overly fit, yet within "average" body size...
I'm not tall, yet never called "short"...

Then again, according to my Facebook profile I only have 20 friends... WOOOOO POPULAR!

I guess the most outstanding thing about me is my job... That I work as a Blackjack dealer...

I suppose I like my hair too... If only it weren't so thick... At least it means I won't go bald, right?

*sigh* I don't know... I like pie?

Yeah, let's go with that...

Well, I'm good at tech-support, I know my way around the inside of computers and laptops more than many people. I recently swapped the HDD of my x360 the modder way, because it's an old xbox that you can't buy original drives for any more, and even it you could, they're prohibitively expensive.
