I hope not - the intention of that was just to provide an alternative to this thread, and it seemed to be quite America bashing because, well, he wasn't American.chris89 said:Just wondering, Since the American one is locked, would it be better to lock this one as well?
Just like Vietnam, that was pretty impressive too!Twilight_guy said:Actually, how I hear it, France saved our bacon and England just decided that it wasn't worth it to keep going. Still a ragtag group of colonist beat one of the most powerful nations on Earth, therefore, haw haw. [/cocky bastard]Sparrow said:You won, but you didn't beat us. We just gave up and pissed off back to England.Twilight_guy said:We beat you guys in the revolutionary war, haw haw!

Are these some TV shows that I am unaware of? It's just I've lived in England my whole life and never come across them!Sigel said:8)"Coupling"

???really?? Both are tv shows. Coupling is a little older(90's) but still fantastically funny, the UK version only. The American version was utter garbage. Spaced is newer, and is geek funny. It only had two seasons though.Gilbert Munch said:Are these some TV shows that I am unaware of? It's just I've lived in England my whole life and never come across them!Sigel said:8)"Coupling"

That said, my life hasn't been considerably long...
Yay somebody else who's seen those shows! Love Coupling, great gender and social commentary and nobody does pop/nerd culture references better than Spaced.Sigel said:???really?? Both are tv shows.
