Well, now that they're started openly vilifying gay people again ("groomers" and whatnot) I'm sure that's going to come back on the docket.

It never really went away. The attacks on trans people over the last few years were only ever about making queer bashing acceptable again.

In 1925, the US dirigible Shenandoah came apart while in flight, causing a much of it to crash straight to the ground, but the crew on the front part were able to use their section as a balloon and crash land relatively safely.

I think that's more or less what's happened here. Excepting that Palmer didn't stop crashing once he hit the ground.
