It didn't. crimson is wrong. It passed through the committee process that has made the amendments. It hasn't gotten to a senate vote yet.
The problem is that you aren't dunking on Republicans. You're dunking on imaginary people who don't exist and then celebrating amongst yourselves, and then trying to ignore me when I point out the basketball game is on an entirely different court.
The Tennessee GOP had to rewrite an entire bill through amendments because they passed an unconstitutional common law marriage bill through committee that would've allowed child marriage.

Look, I'm still disappointed that allowing gay marriage in Australia *still* hasn't resulted in anyone marrying a bridge like the ACL said it would.
Clearly, someone needs to push for legalizing prostitution first, so that when someone marries a bridge they can charge people to use "her".
