Panty shots are so prevalent that it's not really seen sexually anymore
This is what male nerds actually want others to believe.

Of course, yes, it's sexualized, that's why it's there. If there was nothing sexual about it, you'd not see them this prevalent. The reason you boys freak out over them IS the sexual aspect.

Hence, the girls are moe (girls that are cute, as in adorable) rather than loli.
Loli and moe are not distinct categories. Something can be loli and moe.
Which is the case here.

Something tells me this game will be overshadowed by Guild Wars 2.
Same here. GW2 doesn't need to throw tons of naked girlmeat and underage girl panties at gamers to interest people, it does so by being a well designed game.

Face it, when a game tries this hard to appeal with sex, then it doesn't have much else to offer.

A monthly fee? Do they seriously think they can compete against WoW or SWTOR with a traditional monthly fee? It will be demolished by the competition (especially by GW2) and will be F2P within 6 months of release.

But i am looking forward more to Guild Wars. I just tried Tera out and i think the best part of the game. In my opinion. ARE THE GIRL MODELS. I mean, THE BACK SIDE OF THE FIRST FEMALE COSTUME IS "OPEN" i can look at that dookie everytime! lol But seriously the Combat is fast paced. and thats what i love from a Game like this.

Guild Wars 2. However. Will pwn this and that other game.. WOW..

"Combat", which basically means grind.

Yep, I'll believe the only thing this game has going for it is fanservice.

Hey, good for all the Lolicons who think they can make grinding less boring by staring at loli ass. To me, it sounds like a gigantic waste of money.

Basically this. I'm not singling out loli hind quarters by the way. This game in general is far too pornographic and it makes the game incredibly silly and campy.

Actually, silly is good. It's more just like, really ridiculous. I like an MMORPG realm that I can take seriously. Or at least laugh at because it silly and bubbly in general. Tera tries to be dark and gritty AND throw in all the fanservice. Like this is some realm to really take seriously and get into, while everyone is randomly half naked.

Youre downplaying Vindictus's graphics greatly, After all it IS the source engine, same as Portal 2, Half life 2 series of games, ect.
Not to mention the amount of detail they put into the beastiary and armors. Plus im not sure about TERA but Vindictus requires a moderate to advanced amount of skill akin to Devil May Cry Bayonetta or Legend of Zelda, which is REALLY COOL. an mmo that actually challenges the players skills and can halt progression of the player doenst first learn to fight what their up agaisnt.
Vin is pretty impressive even if it were a paid game, the biggest problem i have with vin is the copypasta of their raids and monster compilation. and the limited character creation.
An engine does not guarantee any level of graphical quality. Engines are more indicative of performance for mechanics and platforms as well as supported features. I can make a game that looks like ass using the Source engine if I use 32x32 textures, low-polygon assets, and no form or lighting, real-time or otherwise.

I will say that Vindictus is more challenging than Tera. I think the developers are either trying to cater to a wide audience or underestimating the player base. Tera is ridiculously easy until you hit the mid level range and higher. Boss fights, though, are appropriately difficult.

IMO, neither game is anywhere near as difficult as DMC or Bayonetta. Timing is much more important in those games and screwing up is less forgiving. And I think that is to be expected. In single player games, dying places you one quickload away from retrying. Not the case in MMOs. Too frequent deaths in an MMO party will slow gameplay down too much.
