Those casters are no problem for me anymore when I got the sword that reflects water bolts :p
Also all the dungeon items are pretty cool, like the water candle, spikes etc.
Hrm, I only really use ranged weapons, currently using the Thorn Chakrum because you can throw it through 1 block walls. Also use the leaf blade though, hoping to go get the Flamarang tomorrow, atleast. Can't wait for more tiers, I'm really hoping for a snowy area. Haven't stopped playing the game since release. I think that's the only game I've played since release, actually.

If it wasn't for that sword I would have never made it down to the bottom of the dungeon and back lol.
I didn't have any orb of light, but the sword generated light each time I swung it.

You should get the Phoenix Handgun thing, it is extremely good.
You first need a Handgun from dungeon chests, then upgrade the handgun with the best kind of bars (hellsomething)

I don't really think there's any point to comparing Terraria and Minecraft. Despite the building as ming aspects, they're pretty much completely different types of game.

They both have there place; Terraria offering a superior gameplay experience whilst Minecraft allows for greater flexing of creative prowess.

Both are great games.

I would, but bullets are expensive. Well, atleast for now, I'm not sure how much gold you get in the underworld, not really sure. I only went there once when trying to explore the Jungle.

I got A LOT of gold in the dungeon.
And bullets ain't that expensive, I think 25 silver for every 250 bullets.

As an action/adventure game, the adventure part is fantastic. The action part is really weak though. It's very easy to out-gear current monsters and make the game really easy. My solution is to wear no armor or don't go past Meteor Armor so you can still play with magic.

So has anyone played this game yet?
It is a 2D RPG-ish game with the ability to build and construct things.
Yes, I bought it a few days ago, and it is quite fun. I love Minecraft, but this is similar and different.
How far in are you so far?
Been to the dungeon yet?
Not too far, don't have much time now, but I made a nice house...

Oh yeah, I got Terraria the day it came out, and learned of its existence the day prior. I've been playing it a lot lately. It's very good. I like the combat more than that of Minecraft, chiefly because of the weapons. The weapons are a lot cooler and more diverse in this game. Same as with the enemies, though there are more varieties of slime than I would deem necessary. It's like they were able to build upon Minecraft's ideas faster thanks to the more economical graphics. It doesn't replace Minecraft at all, but it is a very nice work in and of itself.

I might buy this tonight. Was just reading up on reviews myself. Best I can say is that a friend of mine bought it on Steam and played it, more or less, all day long. He maintains that it's brilliant.
You should buy it, only 10$ and pretty good.
Will give you many hours of entertainment, especially if you play multiplayer.
Well, you win. I bought it. I'll post my thoughts later :D
