Alright I decided I wanted to listen to something on the internet, but I can't use my laptop speakers because of other people in the house, so I went to find my headphones. After I found them and hooked them up to my laptop, I had forgotten what I wanted to listen to in the first place.

that is just one example of my terrible memory, do you have a bad memory? if so, whats the most amusing story detailing it?

I have a really poor memory. I blame having already had three concussions.

Something has to really make an impact on me to stay in my head for more than a few hours. I can't even remember breakfast this morning. >_>

I have awesome memory for somethings(like pointless video game trivia, or just pointless trivia in general), and almost fish like memory for others(like tv shows.I rarely remember if I have seen an episode of a show before or not.)

Nope. Mine is pretty good. I remember some very obscure things, especially when it comes to people.

I can remember the exact specifications of conversations that happened years ago, where my friends were sitting at Subway 4 days ago and what they ordered, and I can quote long stretches of poetry from memory. I can't describe what my sister looks like without turning my head from the computer to see her face.

My memory is really fucked up.

I have a fantastic memory for some things and an awful memory for others. Basically, if I don't care about something I can't remember it. I've lost at least one book every single year of high school so far, I forget to hand in or do assignments if I haven't already lost them, and I'll frequently have to look at a clock 3 or 4 times before I remember what time it is.

I once went around the house for an hour looking for the tv remote. When I finally sat down and gave up, I looked in my hand and found that the remote was there the whole time. Yeah, my memory isn't the best...

I have brain damage. I forget my own name from time to time. Seriously. If I didn't work in a business that requires names on your chest, I wouldn't even know my friends' names.

I have terrible short term memory but I have sporadically good long term memory. For example, the other day I went to eat at one of my favorite restaurants. The next day, I could not remember where we had eaten. But, I can remember the first time I lost my wallet. It was a blue, plastic hello kitty wallet (I was like 6 or 7 c'mon) and I lost it in a Roses retail store. gah my head...

My memory is surprisingly good, for the amount of psychiatric medication I've taken over my lifetime.

My roommate, on the other hand, has the memory of a goldfish. She forgets to take pills, carries everything but what she needs to gaming tournaments, and can barely remember MY name half the time.
