YOUR AVATAR.
I knew someone was going to do that. Don't be mean to the pancakes. I think they're adorable, even though I don't think that was the intention in the original picture [http://i700.photobucket.com/albums/ww6/photoscobie/note_take_meds.jpg].
ECKPTHIFTHNIKEPFNAAAAAAAAAR.

You have finished the thread off in two sickening blows.

no I will not put a spoiler on this, suffer, suffer. Mwahahaha.
It's not the eyes that bother me but the nose.

Doesn't help that her skin face looks plastic.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the plastic face thing is the real problem. The contacts actually could look cute, and I've seen pictures where the effect has been cute, rather than creepy. After all, the whole reason anime characters have big eyes is that big eyes in real life are almost universally considered attractive.

Although, after watching This [http://www.hulu.com/watch/163216/abc-good-morning-america-health-the-dangers-of-big-eye-fad] video, it gets a lot creepier. Granted, the young woman they interview who uses them is a good example of someone wearing them and not looking completely creepy, but the fact that these things are unregulated non-prescription contact lenses being sold over the internet makes it creepy in a whole new way.

Yeah, there were other pictures I could have used, but this one was especially creepy. It's mostly the girl. But she's trying to be cute, and failing

With that creepy smile it almost makes me think that the stuff being spread onto the bread is blood. The stuff in the glass also looks like blood.

[small]COME PLAY WITH US *twitch*![/small]

Sometimes, attempts to make something cute can go horribly, horribly wrong. What's the most terrifying "cute" thing you've seen?
Absolutely this. I'm shocked that it's still going, unless you've dredged that up from an archive folder of pure pain. It put the frighteners on me when I first saw it. Hopefully the game has sunk without trace, especially if it actually looks like that to play rather than the ad being the demented nightmare of a drug addicted marketing twat. Just look at that duck (goose? whatever the bird's supposed to be). ITS EYES ARE CUT-OUT TO FIT AROUND EACH OTHER AND ITS BEAK. AND THEY LOOK LIKE REAL ONES NOT CARTOONS. Nrrrruuggghhh!!!

I can't get scared at Scobie's avatar though, or any of that Ooglies-type stuff. Googly eyes on inanimate things almost never fails to be cute for some reason. Presumably it's some kind of hyperstimulus effect...

I don't really see the issue with this one... I hardly don't notice the uncanny valley here. She's cute, anime-esque contacts? No, don't see that. Creepy? Hell no.
GAH! FUCK! Get that away from me! *shudders*
It's like a regular tiger... that smiles! Cats aren't supposed to smile!

Occasionally it's ok... but then you see the smiles on the kitties... and it's not immediately noticeable, but you can tell... something is off... *brr*
