umm, am i the only one who thinks that this article is bad news with regards for a new elder scrolls game?
They made the first one, the second was made by Obsidian, either way it doesn't relate to what he is saying.megapenguinx said:I thought Bioware made Kotor?
While I fundamentally agree, they do have a track record for releasing very buggy games that required a lot of patching/3rd-party modification (Daggerfall especially) - I'm not sure how well they would handle an MMO, considering companies with far better track records on the ole 'bug front' generally still have their MMO launches accompanied by a slew of problems.Akai Shizuku said:I don't remember Bethesda ever making a bad game. For some reason I'm optimistic about it.Gildan Bladeborn said:While I fundamentally agree, they do have a track record for releasing very buggy games that required a lot of patching/3rd-party modification (Daggerfall especially) - I'm not sure how well they would handle an MMO, considering companies with far better track records on the ole 'bug front' generally still have their MMO launches accompanied by a slew of problems.Akai Shizuku said:I don't remember Bethesda ever making a bad game. Well to be fair on the bug front there games are MASSIVE so really the bug thing isn't so bad.Gildan Bladeborn said:While I fundamentally agree, they do have a track record for releasing very buggy games that required a lot of patching/3rd-party modification (Daggerfall especially) - I'm not sure how well they would handle an MMO, considering companies with far better track records on the ole 'bug front' generally still have their MMO launches accompanied by a slew of problems.Akai Shizuku said:I don't remember Bethesda ever making a bad game. Well he said that it was another kick to KOTOR which confused me some.Knight Templar said:They made the first one, the second was made by Obsidian, either way it doesn't relate to what he is saying.megapenguinx said:I thought Bioware made Kotor?

Having to actually fight your battles would make it interesting if it's anything like Oblivion. The block-strike fighting style requires you to be actually there. Then again the kill everything approach of some gamers will mean that new players will die ten seconds in when a maxed out archer picks them off as they leave the prison sewers for the first time. I know, because I'll be that archer.Nimbus said:It will either be the best MMO ever, or the worst TES ever.
Time will tell.
No big news there, the last official word about TES5 was "Don't hold your breath"."We are working on our next big game but we are not talking about it." Don't look a new Elder Scrolls game in the near future; Howard said there are no current plans for an "Elder Scrolls 5."
For six letters, two words up there are MASSIVE.As far as an Elders Scrolls based MMO, he said in jest, "There's always a chance."
IN JEST. As in "not being serious". He's basically said "Well... we COULD do it, but we won't".in jest
I'm crossing my fingers, because I too don't want to pay monthly for a game that I paid good money for.quack35 said:This.APPCRASH said:Quit being a fear monger.
He said "there's a chance" that there will be an MMO.
So probably not.
They couldn't make any more, at least for the 360. There's some arbitrary achievement limit for a game (1000 for the core, like 1700 with all DLC included), and I doubt they'd leave out that group of fans.Ranooth said:No more Fallout DLC is a shame, Mothership Zeta just didn't feel like a rightful ending for me.

Pfft, where's the fun in being informed? Anyways this isn't a huge surprise. Aren't they doing that new IP about floods and shit?pimppeter2 said:[HEADING=2]Did any of you actually read it?
