TF2 PC and console differences?

All in all, TF2 for PC is -way- better then TF2 for consoles.

after playing TF2 for a long time on the xbox i was always told that its the pc version is way better. i went and bought tf2 for pc today and its downloading now and i was wondering what the major differences are and what i should expect.

do i just get new weapons?
are all the new maps free?
and id just like to know any other differences.

3. There are to many to count, but differences include tweeks to existing weapons (such as pyro's flamethrower has an airblast that can send both projectiles and people away from you), many new game types, and class tweaks (the Engineer can move around buildings after building them, but is defenceless while carrying them and the building are deactivated).
