This would be awesome, and not unbalanced either, if you're controlling it by remote, you lack the ability to both move and run off to repair/restock its ammo cache, maybe as a trade off it could have more health/larger ammo reserves, it would be a walking death tank, but destroyable with relative ease/teamwork, plus it'd seriously fuck up those people who like to gung-ho it alone, only to walk into a fully upgraded level 3 walking death turret.
I was thinking a back pack that dispenses ammo so he basically becomes like a medic but for ammo and is AoE rather than one specific person. It would make him more relavent in attack.orannis62 said:

They all seem to either break the game, in the case of the demoman's new stuff, or they're designed solely to combat a single class, like the Razorback was. I want the engineer to get an better dispensor which hands out demopacks to the demomen... There was a distinct lack of KA-BOOM in the demoman-update.. and i NEED more boom for my favourite class.
Two or three instantly deployable lvl 1 sentries would make me smile from here to the moon. I'm not especially good at playing an offensive engineer but it sure is fun.
Maybe to solve the quicker building problem would be a new wrench that makes buildings that go up 3-4 times faster while banging it with your wrench rather than 2 times faster. The tradeoff could be something like no random crits and less damage or something like that.
A gravity lift (only deployable outside)
A dispencer backpack
A mobile sentry (less health/damage/no rockets)
A dispencer that heals buildings (Uses metal and only gives players ammo, no health)
And like Kollega said: Some way of moving your equipment, although it would leave you vulnerable.

Now that i think about it, a spy trap. a sentry that rotates 360 degrees and has a laser range detector and optical sensors. say a cloaked spy walks through by, the optical sensors detect nothing but the laser detects that something has passed through it setting off an alarm
