This. A lot of people seem to be jumping over the fact that this will be attempted to run on a Netbook...which won't happen. Netbooks don't have the processor speed, memory, nor the graphics cards required to run any games. Sorry man, looks like you're stuck with it on the Xbox, and at that point, I wouldn't even bother getting it.
I don't particularly want to have to get it on the XBOX. My netbook has managed to run games like Spore, Company of Heroes Opposing Fronts, Dawn of War and Battle for Middle Earth 2 to a pretty good standard.

PC, accuracy with the mouse is much easier. Controls are easy and can easily be changed to whatever. PC easier to update Steam/TF2 ?? I have no idea how Xbox updates but pc is easy.

Hmm...Well, maybe you might be able to run it if you can run those. The beauty about TF2, at least for someone like yourself, is that the game will still look pretty good, even on low settings. If you have enough faith, you could just buy it off Steam right now and start downloading. Or you could post your netbook's specs and let me take a look.

Sounds like you stand a good chance of being able to play it, could you post your specs for us to examine?

EDIT: I feel a shadowy presence...DAMN NINJAS!!

Well TF2 has approximately the same minimum requirements as Spore, so you'll probably be able to run it, but I wouldn't trust that you'll have a smooth framerate.

The thing is that TF2 for the PC has been constantly updated for 3 years (new maps, new weapons, new everything) and has a huge player-base, whereas the X-Box version has very few players and only a few bug fixes as updates.
If you can't play the PC version, then it's probably not worth playing at all.

No, personal preference with a mouse if you find it moves too slow or fast just change the sensitivity. It's much easier to do then console joysticks.

Well, I'm not bothering with the XBOX version if nobody plays it. The game is too good to be bought and have no one to play with. Looks like I'm just going to have to wait until I can get this broken desktop PC bought and fixed up.

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
System Model: Aspire 1410
Processor: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 743 @ 1.30GHz
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
Card name: Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family
Display Memory: 1309 MB
Dedicated Memory: 64 MB

That's off the DXDIAG. I think that should suffice but if there's anything else..

Get it on the PC of course. Before I bought a proper PC this time last year, I was playing Team Fortress 2 on a 4 year old laptop so I'd think if can work on that, it'll work on a netbook...right?

Either you're terrible with the mouse or you're using some sort of future controller that reads your thoughts.

See, the inherent problem with analogues and any game where you need to aim is that while the mouse reads 1:1 movements, the analogue does movement magnification. Which means, that in a correctly calibrated mouse, you'll move your hand an inch if you want to move your aim an inch. Precisely, while in an analogue you'll need to move, for example, 0.23 of an inch to move your aim said inch.

This might seem better if you're new to shooters, since you need to make smaller movements to move bigger distances, but it's like magnifying a stamp, even a really good quality one, into a giant billboard. You're going to lose quality, sensibility, and most importantly, precision.

Additionally, traditionally, with a mouse your hand does the exact movement (and at the exact speed) you need it to, while with the analogues you're only telling the computer the direction and speed to move it in as absolutes.

I have it for both and I like PC better. I am running TF2 on my new laptop and minimum graphics aren't half bad.

Xbox has achievements, that's the only reason for it.
So does PC, so yeah...

The 360 version of TF2 sucks and shouldn't be bothered with.

So does the PC.. In fact, PC has far more achievements, since around 30 came out with every update the XBox didn't get. Unless you meant public Gamerscore?

That's probably not gonna work too well. The minimum Processor speed listed for TF2 is 1.7GHz. I'd wait till you build/buy a proper computer to buy it (but never, EVER buy it for the XBox, you'll miss out on 2 years worth of updates)
