The PC version has unlockable weapons, hats, tuants, maps, patches to glitches and is WAY more populated and is usually cheaper.

That about sums it up.

I ask this because I am currently arguing with myself over whether to get it for XBOX or PC, I know how much we all like Valve and I know we all realise PCs are better, but I doubt my netbook will be able to run it as well as my XBOX can.
PC all the way because then you can join http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/view/The-Escapist-Team-Fortress-2-Group-PC

Honestly, try and find one person who's played both and even rates the Xbox version.

So does the PC.. In fact, PC has far more achievements, since around 30 came out with every update the XBox didn't get. Unless you meant public Gamerscore?
Yeah I meant gamerscore.

Steam achievements just aren't the same.

Of course I am looking into making a custom desktop... but I don't know how long it would take.
To build a custom comp?
10 minutes or so.
Not counting shipping time for the parts and installation of the software, of course.

The pc has the upgrades, community, new maps, new gametypes, new weapons, not a ton of lag, and constant support.

The Xbox has..... fuck all.

Xbox has achievements, that's the only reason for it.

PC is superior in every other way.
So does Steam.

In fact, TF2 currently has 364 achievements.

I give the Xbox version a negative seven!

I mean gamerscore achievements. They are very different.
I'd rather not have a pointless number that measures the size of your Internet penis.

You would rather not. To some people they are important.

For a netbook, it'll look and play like complete ass, it's a bit of a system hog. I'd recommend getting it for Pc absolutely, but you need a better Pc first. Get the Xbox version until then if you want, but I can't really vouch for the quality of that one. Tf2 for the Pc is my favourite multiplayer game ever though.

PC has a crapton more achievements if thats what you like, i think its about 300+ now. Also, all the new weapons, the hats, the custom maps, what's not to like over the xbox version?

Why would I be better off buying Team Fortress 2 for my Netbook rather than my XBOX? From the point that I'm standing right now, it looks like the XBOX has easy controls that I am already used to and guaranteed top performance at all times.

I ask this because I am currently arguing with myself over whether to get it for XBOX or PC, I know how much we all like Valve and I know we all realise PCs are better, but I doubt my netbook will be able to run it as well as my XBOX can.
Make sure your netbook is powerful enough, then get it for that.

If not, get a better computer, then get it.
