Fuck, now I look like an idiot. Well, can't hide the truth for long eh. I'll be getting it off steam so if I can't play it on my netbook I'll just play it on the hypothetical PC I'm fixing up.

Xbox has achievements, that's the only reason for it.

PC is superior in every other way.

The PC has achievements as well... Other than that, this. PC is pretty awesome.

I mean Xbox achievements with gamerscore.

I know steam has achievements but... they're just not the same.

PC, if you can run it. However, once Steam comes to the Ps3 I do believe Valve will release all of the updates for TF2 on the Xbox as well. So you can possibly wait until then?

Its just a guess, but one that makes sense.

no, they will NOT release on xbox. only ps3 per terms of their agreement with sony.

Take note, I did NOT say the entire steam platform, merely a slew of patch updates to bring TOB to PC status. Is this explicitly said against in the agreement?

Get a decent gaming machine, laptop or desktop (desktop by preference) then buy TF2 for that.
Seriously, about 90% of my game time in the last 3 years has been spent playing TF2, and I recently got a new gaming PC which I will still be mostly playing TF2 on (but with much higher resolution and with a big full HD monitor .
From what I've heard, the X-Box version has had none of the updates that we've had ont he PC and frankly, the old maps get boring pretty damned quickly.
