I was extremely disappointed in World of Warcraft. It was nothing but a quick and easy way to get money. The buildings are copy pasted, the characters are thrown together like you throw you're character together, the NPC communication is all text based (AKA, lazy), instead of making good game content, they made it a grind fest without any real plot or story structure with the illusion that a quickly put together world justifies the total lack of good game and fun. It's for keeping you playing, not for having fun. And while you play, they make money. That's what World of Warcraft is all about, not a sequel, a get rich quick scheme.

You just described an MMO, and since it's an MMO, I figure it's done rather well, compared to all the other MMOs out there. It's kinda pointless complaining about an MMO being like an MMO. Did I mention MMO?

Then I'm disappointed that they made an MMO. It disgusts me. Call it what you want, call it what it is. It still disgusts me.

I do agree, they are one of the finer developers. Them, Bioware, and Valve... with a shout out to Bethesda.

Bethesda made the abomination that is Oblivion. It can be a fallen angel at most.
And, I said, that I don't like Blizzard, but, I agree, they are gaming gods. Well, nobody said, that gods must be nice.

As someone whose favorite game out of thousands is the original Starcraft, I was loving SC2 right up until the end...

Metzen has completely lost it. I don't know what made him go all happy-ending on us, but this shit needs to cease. Now I'm wishing they never made SC2.

I just finished SC2 and I feel exactly the same! I loved the whole game up until the end where we got the big old "To be Continued" crap.

The game doesn't even have an epilogue the way Starcraft: Broodwars had, right after the ending cinematic you had an epilogue made only out of text explaining how none of DuGalle's ships made it back to Earth and how Mengsk retreated to "lick he's wounds".

Why couldn't they have done the same for SC2? I swear I would have loved the game then. And I know that we're gonna have future expansions, but still I think that the abrupt end was uncalled for.

=_=... I wasn't talking about what DIDN'T happen at the end, I was talking about what DID. I would have preferred LESS of an ending.

Yep. Thanks for the pile of excrements that is Wrath of the Lich King. Thanks for ruining the Warcraft RTS franchise with WC3. Thanks for selling out to Activision. Thanks for taking 12 years to update SC graphics

Starcraft 2 made my year. Definitely the game of the year (my opinion).

If Starcraft 2 is about the story then it should have destroyed you. You should be a crying wreck huddled in the corner. Don't tell me you actually LIKED the story.
