My avatar is the thumbnail for the flash movie called "Queers of War" on Newgrounds. Yes, it's a gay parody of Gears of war.

I love it (the avatar) and will probably never change it.

I made my avatar myself from a nice sprite of Renamon I found, and adding an Escapist "e" to it.

Simple and effective, if I do say so myself.

Mine (right now) is Shantotto from FFXI performing her trademark laugh. It's hand drawn by someone I don't know.

I've never played FFXI, but judging from that laugh and what I've heard of Shantotto from clips of Dissidia, she's quite the snob, is she not?

Anyway, my avatar(s) are all hand-made by me, and people who've known me around here for a while can attest to the fact that it kinda stands out. There was a time when many other people had Kerricks like mine that I made for them on request, but I guess that "fad" has passed for the most part. I still take requests, though.

Kinda, she's mostly the most powerful Black Mage in the game who can kill you in 1 hit no matter what level you are and was a major factor in finishing a war. She also has you blamed for a murder. And speaks in rhyme.

At first, I just did an image search for the phrase you see in the picture. With that, I had <url=http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3175/2693350864_1a2a3e46c1_o.jpg>this image. After a while, I decided to ask for it to be animated in the now-dead avatar request thread. Fanboy worked his photoshop magic on it, and I got the avatar you see today.
As a side note, I want to thank thenumberthirteen for making <url=http://i593.photobucket.com/albums/tt18/freemind62/NukeTheWhalesAV.gif>this for me. While I may not use it here, it's on another site.

Well, I got the base version when I signed up here as a default. So I put it in MS paint and gave it a stache and a monocle and a cigarette. Why? Who cares.

I liked it so I asked Furb if he could make me the avy using that vid and he did so for me, making me a very happy Scrubs fan.

Then Zero added in the E, my group logo for PRIATE [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/view/P-R-I-A-T-E]and a pineapple[footnote]Why, I have no idea.[/footnote] to make it more unique and advertise my group and pineapples.
