Well the character is obviously a Spartan, but the Avatar comes from Xbox Live. The story is quite simple. When I first got an Xbox I chose this avatar, and never changed it[footnote]I currently have two avatars for my Xbox Live account. My Halo avatar if you are on my friends list, and a Halo 3 avatar if you are not.[/footnote]. When I became active in forums I decided to keep my avatar the same for every profile I have. It's just easier that way.

Well, except my Steam and PSN accounts. It's not available for PSN and for some reason I can't get my avatar to work on Steam. It says there's something wrong with the format. So instead I use a picture of G-Man from the Black Mesa trailer.
