In all seriousness, I had some one tell me the boss fight in Assassins Creed 2 was a hell of a fight before I got to play it... When I beat the game I slapped that person.

My friend said the same thing about the first Assassins Creed, with the final boss. I proceeded to pressure point him for months on end at random for that.

Oh, and the Borderlands boss. My friend said it was insanely hard, even the the first run through. The only hard thing about it, was not running out of ammo.

Any of the God-Beasts from Secret of Mana 2... especially the God-Beast of Darkness. The FAQ walkthroughs made them out to the be coming of the Anti-Christ and beat them all with no one in my party knowing any spells and using only a handful of item.

The bosses in Dead Space. I'm not sure if there was alot of hype about the difficulty of kill them though, but compared pound-for-pound (one way to put it) to all the other things running around) they were pretty week.
I know how everyone thought killing the levathan was awesome because of size and everything, but it just kind of interesting to look at and kill; it was fun though and a perfect collaberation of different parts of the game ( massive baddy + zero-G and jumping + shooting the various limbs and projectiles)

Evrae Altana in FFX, every where you look it says that he's the toughest boss so far. Susceptible to slow and by then you should have hastega half his HP gone by his first turn.

Then again I'm the guy who kicked the shit out of Nemesis first try and only got hit once from using an overdrive.

What the hell? Evrae Altana? What the hell walkthroughs have you been looking at that say he's tough to beat? If you mistyped and meant Evrae, then yes, I agree, and he was pretty damn easy for me too. But Evrae Altana? You realise he's the one that you meet in Via Purifico, right? Where he's a zombie, so you just throw two Phoenix Downs at him and he's down, with an Overkill, no less? That's probably the easiest fight I've ever had in any game to date. Unless you count outnumbering an opposing army about ten-to-one in Rome: Total War...
