We all have one, you know that boss that took you a million tries to beat or you still haven't beaten to this day? What is your One Boss? As for me, it's probably that giant SOB that comes out of the building in Devil May Cry 2, I still haven't beaten him.

I remember being stuck on the last boss of Persona 2 Eternal Punishment for like 5 days. It actually got me depressed. Later on I figured out how to farm some somas (full heal for everyone in party). After getting quite a few of those I was finally able to beat the boss. It was a glorious moment.
It took me 18 months to beat Demyx the second time in KH2 (including the months I spent playing something else, because "I can't deal with this shit anymore") and to this day, I have no idea why it took me so long.

Definitely not the hardest extra stage boss, but she's the one i've been practising to try and beat. The closest I ever got was down to the last quarter-bar of her 10 or so life bars before dying.
Needless to say, I was not happy.

I remember blazing through the entirety of DMC2 by spamming my pistols the whole time. I don't think I did much of anything else to beat any boss. xDDiablo27 said:

I didn't find her difficult, just time consuming. I've beaten that game twice and both times I didn't die while fighting her but it took me 45+ minutes. I just whittle her health down then run away when she charge her super move, the super move will hit you but shouldn't kill you. You then run into an alleyway and consume things to heal, rinse and repeat.kman123 said:
The final boss from Demon's Souls is a fucking nightmare, i died almost instantly every time i fought him (which was at least 40 times btw). There is also the fact that it takes about 10 minutes to get to him after each death, fighting quite a few tough enemies along the way.

Also, winning the Royal Rumble match in Wrestlemania 2000 (ah, the N64!) was unadulterated hell. The match lasts until either you or 29 other people were eliminated, usually upwards of half an hour. One reversal, one percentage-based outcome against you, one move being counted as hitting you when you were remotely near the ropes, and you could be eliminated through no fault of your own. The only saving grace was that it wasn't mandatory to win it in story mode.

This one is probably the worst in my opinion, especially because all of the rest of the game is easy apart from this one boss. You just don't see it coming.kman123 said:
Other than that, I've just remembered my countless attempts to beat the final boss of House of the Dead 2. Never even got close to killing that thing.
The last battle with Replica Riku in Kingdom Hearts: COM. It took me literally years to finally beat him.
