Overkill on Halo 3.

Multiplayer achievements are a ***** in general, but I have 1745 gamerscore in Halo 3. I'm missing one 5g achievement, and that is Overkill.

If I ever get that achievement I'll die a happy man

I need to learn how to link a bungie.net video here because I got an extermination with one shot from the spartan laser. It was pure luck and awesome.

For an overkill, play action sack and wait for grifball, then wait at their spawn, its easy.

Doom 2 on XBLA : "You Have Huge Guts" 20G , Kill a Cyberdemon using your fists in Single Player.

Granted you can soften him up with a few BFG shots, but the death blow has to be your fists.

Gears of War 2 on Insane was a bit of a *****. Though it turned out to be semi-easy as long as I took my time. Batman AA on Hard (counter notifier is turned off) had a good learning curve too. Come to think of it I haven't gone for any achievement that was ridiculously difficult. NO WAIT CALL OF DUTY ON VETERAN. SCREW YOU MILE HIGH CLUB!

"Brass Balls" on Bioshock. It's for beating the game on Hard without using a vitachamber. I have every other achievement in the game except for this one. GAH!

"Dehydration" and "Less-rabi" in WoW. I will NEVER get a proto drake because of these two achievements.

Platinum Trophies are sorta hard to come by. I only have one.

The play for 50 hours Viva Pinata achievement. I got all the others in 25 hours. It just seems so futile.

The assassins creed achievement where you have to get all the feathers. I would keep yelling "where are those last four feathers!" I finally got the master assassin trophy though!

MGS4, ingame achievment i believe, makes u go through teh game without being detected or killing a single enemy(when possible, but it might aswell not be) and if u do get caught u cant just reload ur game. u have to quit game or turn off the system and then load the game making it that more tedius. If u ever got this, u are a god of invisisbility and invisible to the opposite sex aswell.

there are no trophies in MGS4, unfortunately.

Demon's Souls has a trohpy for maxing out a weapon with bladestone. To do this, you need a pure bladestone. Only place to get a pure bladestone is a stupidly rare drop from an enemy (only 2 enemies in a specific area can drop it). After grinding for it almost an entire day, I still didn't have it. I FINAL-FUCKING-LY got it after at least 14 hours of trying (I had nothing better to do on that cold winter day). No other ore is that hard to get.

You don't have to quit the game, you can reload the checkpoint and still get the achievements (I had to quite a few times when I did it, but the rewards are worth it). The 0 alerts is kinda tough (reward: stealth camo), but the 0-kills (reward: Infinity Bandanna) is a fair bit easy since you have a lot of non-lethal weapons you can use.

The Big Boss emblem is MGS4. No kills, no alerts, no healing items, must be on the hardest difficulty, and you have to beat the game in under 5 hours. It's just so frustrating. I got it, but it took me forever to. There was one point where I almost gave up. I was looking at the game cleared screen and looked at my results. 0 kills, 0 alerts, 0 healing items used, completion time 5 hours and 8 minutes. Needless to say I almost gave up. I gave it one more try though and I got it ^_^

Wow, why am I the only one that has that trophy? I did it on SURVIVOR with out a vita-chamber, try that for a few minutes.

Not really, I have 4 platinums. Dead Space' trophies are easy, and so are all 3 God of Wars and Uncharted's trophy sets are pathetic.

Vidmaster Annuel. an ass load of pain just to get to the ghost part only to get recon armor which is cool but not worth the sleepless hours.

I feel like such a no-lifer bad-ass for having some of the trophies/achievements listed here (Little Rocket Man, Neighborhood Watch, Epic Tier 3 Engineer, aMAZEd, Rockhound, ____ Ally, Duty 3-5 on Vet, etc.), but I too have several that just piss me right off.

One was beating GH3 on Expert - it's not that the song is hard, it's not that the music is challenging, because it's not that bad - it's that the game NEVER gives you a useful power-up, while giving Lou the best ones 3 times in a row. I must have played Devil Went Down to Georgia about 50x, and not once did I get a whammy-bar (prob the best one to get) to use against him. What a joke, "boss battles" are easily the worst idea in the history of music games.

I have more, but thinking of this one again has blinded me with rage...
