I suppose you guys have heard of sinusitis. I have the chronic kind. Every time I get sinusitis my neck gets swollen. Imagine being stabbed every then putting salt on the wound. Multiply that by a thousand and that's what having a swollen neck feels like. It's just a little thing I tend to hate whenever my sinuses decide it's time to torture me.
Whoa, that suddenly makes my dislikes seem like nothing. :( Is there any sort of medicine that can reduce the pain or symptoms?

While I'm here, I might as well contribute:

- When idiots honk their car horns to get someone to hurry up inside. Hey, asshole, you're not the only one living on that street. Horns aren't meant for that, anyway.
- Sore throat
- When mucus clogs my Eustachian tubes
- Static shocks
- When someone holds up the line at a store, usually a slow cashier or an old lady writing out a check

There is medication and my doctor always prescribes it to me but it takes a day or two before it takes effect. I also forgot the mention that whenever I do get a swollen neck I always feel the need to swallow. You can imagine what that means.

American 'football' It is not football, it is not a skillfull game, the players are not atheletes. What they are is steroid freaks who can't run more than 10 seconds at a time, hence all the breaks. God I hate that 'sport'
Absolute nonsense.

I do agree that it isn't football.

But you claim it requires no skill? Are you mental?

So it doesn't take skill to throw a pretty large ball 60 metres one handed? It doesn't take skill to change direction and speed automatically in the same stride, out maneuvering an opponent? It doesn't take skill to create the insanely complex tactics that are learnt before each play? NFL has more tactics to it than Football does. And this is coming from a passionate football fan. The most tactics you'll see in Football is from a set piece, even then the amount of movement involved is fairly simple compared to NFL.

And the players aren't steroid freaks, they do get drug tested pretty extensively. Just because they have fast twitch muscle fibres doesn't make them "Steroid freaks". There are many examples of smaller players who are extremely successful in NFL. Just like there are many, many cases that show just because you are very well built and athletic doesn't mean you are any good at the sport.

Then you claim they are not athletes? I see. So what is someone who can run incredibly fast, is incredibly strong and incredibly good at catching footballs? If they aren't athletes and it takes no skill, why doesn't everyone just get super buff and go play in the NFL? You stand to make millions that way.

I don't even like NFL. I can't watch it for more than 10 minutes, but what you have said here is utter tripe.

See that's more like it, having a reasoned debate is much better than instantly assuming one is a troll.

Clearly there is a bit of skill involved, clearly the players are not all steroid munchers. But like I said, it's a rant thread, there are exaggerations everywhere.
But look at other sports, in most the physical and technical requirements are higher. In cricket, against a fast bowler, you may have less than a second to react to any swing/spin/funny bounce, pick where you're going to place the shot and then perform a perfect shot. In rugby, you have to stop men who may be twice your weight, but you can't do this simply by running into them, there is skill involved in the tackle.
I accept that the intervals every 5 seconds may be down to commercial reasons, but American football is far from the be all and end all, we all differing opinions when it comes to sport, and the best advice I can give you my friend is that most people in the world don't care for American football, so shouting at those who don't is pretty futile. I love rugby, to me it is the ultimate team sport, however is someone posts 'I really hate rugby' I'd think 'oh well' and move on.

I rage when something doesn't work the way it's supposed to. Everything from my PC crashing to my phone stalling for a few seconds sends me over the edge.

I also hate it when someone changes the song just when it's about to get to the good part.

Grr I know. What'd you do, drop the phone and run like hell after I didn't pick up? I call you immediately after the phone stops ringing and you've already left?! What is this? Hate it when people do that. Maybe it's some kind of subliminal payback.

While I am annoyed by this as well, I also find it quite amazing.
How do you finish the call and turn off you're phone/leave it to an area you can't hear it that quickly? You must be intent on not hearing it.

Also, loud people. I am a quiet person, and over the top noise annoys the hell out of me

I hate when I think about having to breath, thus forcing me to consciously breath until I stop thinking about breathing, which is impossible for several minutes because my mind is focused on breathing. You probably know what I'm talking about right now.

I hate when people at my school gush about shit that I know for a fact to be shit, or criticize something I know for a fact to be a brilliant and original work of art. And then call me a retard for my opinion.

And I hate those stupid iPod scroll-wheel-things. And Apple's refusal to properly capitalize those fuckers.

When my neighbors play their music loud enough for me to hear it in my basement. God I despise that. I guess I wouldn't mind it so much if they had good taste in music, but they don't.

I hate when people text while driving, I mean phoning someone while driving is illegal now so instead you text? Wankers.

I hate people that get angry at you because you didn't notice them talking to you.

I hate when people turn the channel over without asking when im in the middle of watching something.

I don't quite understand that either, but I sort of agree :S

OT : When you're finally in the perfect comfortable position in bed, about to fall asleep...and you need to take a piss. And you know you can't ignore it and sleep anyway, so you gotta get up eventually....*sigh*

People who walk slowly in a group with no way for me to pass them without walking into traffic. Especially if there's plenty of space and they're walking with about a meter between them.

Also the fact the more you try to forget something them more ingrained into your mind it becomes. Yet it doesn't work when it comes to studying.

Walking in a group in a sort of staggered line, someone will ALWAYS end up walking in front of me as if im not even there. Really Irritating.

"I want this room tidy" "It is tidy." "No theres stuff lying everywhere" "Yeah, but its still organised" "No its not, tidy it up now."
I AM THE ONLY ONE WHO COMES INTO THIS ROOM! WHY DO YOU CARE?!

Somewhat related to above, people who cant take NO for an answer.
