Super Paper Mario had a couple of mini-bosses pop up when I had low health. And then in Paper Mario 64 with that damn cloud boss....

The Man at Legs from Pikmin 2. Let me give you a rough description: A giant robot spider that moves really fast and has a laser guided machine gun. Fuh...
Have trouble wrapping your mind around that? Well, here's a video:

That stupid hells gate thing in The Last Remnant (The one where you summon the Golem for the first time), tried it like 30 times to no avail and eventually just stopped, turns out my party/team was just horribly under-leveled and 40mins of killing shit solved that and I stomped it first time recently after trying again for the first time in like 8 months. But have not gotten too much further since because my 360 sounds like it is about to esplode horribly (on my 6th 360).

This one boss in Starfox 64, the experimental robot thing or whatever on that huge space war (I havent bought the 3ds game so I cant remember names). You could only shoot its weakspot when it fired its shoop da woop laser. Its weakspot was the center of the laser cannon. WTF, I mean its easy now, but as a kid that was impossible especially with Starfox 64 physics.

Can't you turn off the free-look when locking onto something for Prime 1 and 2 though? Also, pretty sure they made the boost guardian (and spider guardian I believe) easier in the trilogy version :/
In Corrpution you could turn of the free-aim for all gameplay except boss fights; that is, even if you had free-aim turned off in your settings, it would still make your free aim during a boss fight if you were locked on, I assume to increase the difficulty. I'm not sure if that persists in the Trilogy versions of Prime 1 and 2 (I just have the GC versions).

Yes the disc. I remember that sound it made when its laser followed you without any room on the screen to dodge it. So loud and creepy. Q_Q Y U NO HELP ME KILL THE BOSS ROBOTS FALCO? I THOUGHT YOU WERE ON MY SIDE?!?!?!?

Also, Why did everyone find Seymore Flux( Mt Gagazet) So hard, was it the Zombie/Fulllife, or Cross Slash, or what?
Zombie/Fulllife, Cross Slash and the Annihiliation interrupt bullshit he does when he drops below 10,000 HP which instakills the whole party - remember, you can only do 9,999 damage without ultimate weapons/limit breaks. Plus you have to sit through a long, boring, unskippable cutscene every time you reload your game.

In hindsight he's probably easy if you have at least one 'ultimate' weapon at that point, but I didn't. Eventually I had to grind until I found a Poisonball for Wakka, which I had to use carefully to make Seymour Flux drop below 10,000 HP during HIS turn, so I would be able to finish him on my first attack on my turn.

The Leviathan in Gears of War 2 in co-op was a complete pain in the hindquarters.

(On harder difficulty you basically have to be RIGHT there to push the chainsaw button the Instant they land), and then both players have to run into the mouth at the same time. We'd breeze through the rest of the game and then spend hours stuck on that guy.

Well, I suppose a LOT of WoW Heroic raid bosses would count for this as well. Professor Putricide, Sindragosa, Mimiron, etc etc etc. One notable one I guess would be that we had more difficulty with (ironically) Supremus then we did with any other Black Temple boss.

Yunalesca from FF10. She had me screaming at the game for a day and a half. Seymour Flux at mount Gagazet had me going almost as long but for some reason i didn't get nearly as mad.

The Octaking on Duke Nukem Forever. Too many Octabrains. Blasts just too big to dodge. Hated that fight.

The gryphon thing (can't remember the name) near the start of Lost Odyssey took me forever the first time.

About half the bosses on Last Scenario could have been but the story was so good that i didn't care.

I dont think it was physically possible to have built a ultimate by that point.

Also, Guarding is awesome.

I think it's possible to have completed Tidus' weapon by that point, assuming you could beat the Chocobo race on the Calm Lands.

The Demon Wall in FFVII, first time I went through the game it caused me all manner of problems. That boss has caused me more game overs than any other I can think of, I still associate the game over music with that boss. This would be my one boss, the boss I most associate with the term 'game over'.

The Carry Armour, a boss from the same game, is my most frustrating boss fight. It did not kill me as many times as the The Demon Wall but my feud with that boss was personal. I take great pleasure in destroying it whenever I take a trip down memory lane and play the game.

Honourable mention to Agni and Rudra from DMC3, who can claim the life of a controller after I broke one in a fit of rage.
