With Christmas season coming up soon, I was wondering if there was one thing that you wanted beyond anything in existence when you were younger that you absolutely wanted for Christmas/any other Holiday. For me, it was Tigerhawk from Beast Wars. Oh my God, I so wanted that toy and part of me today still wants him.

Hey does anyone remember these.
My brother had one.
I always wanted one.
I never got one. ;_;

He hated me using his so he'd do anything to impede me from using it.

Edit: image was broken.

It was Christmas in the 90's, I wanted a bicycle that had plastic parts that made it look like a motorcycle. I wanted it so bad and I didn't get it. I was convinced I was getting it b/c it was basically all that I asked for. On Xmas morning, I got a different regular bicycle. I was shocked and the bike I got was too tall. I don't think I loved it but I rode it anyways.

I wanted a kitten. I still want a kitten.

Seriously, a kitten is probably on my Christmas list this year. Though I'm not sure how someone else could pick out a kitten for me.

I wanted this Blastoise plush from this shop that was selling other Pokemon plush (they were the ones that you get from the claw game) which my mate know. However he end up getting me Charizard instead since he know Charmander was a favourite. While that was true however I never like the Charizard plush since it was stitch weirdly (head was point up and was turn to the left). Seriously how did he not know I wanted Blastiouse out of those lots?

I never got one because my parents' friends had bought them for their children and they ALL said that it breaks within five minutes, but only if the kids hadn't gotten bored with it after two. I still asked for one every year though.

They bought it me for my 21st birthday :) My parents are awesome. They were also right - it broke after five minutes!

God I know that feel. I desperately wanted Inferno, and my folks just couldn't find him anywhere.

One Christmas my parents surprised me with a brand-new first-gen iPod, right after they had just come out. I was thrilled-- the packaging was beautiful, the iPod was shiny and had a huge amount (ha, ha) of storage... it was perfect. I ran downstairs to install it on our family desktop as soon as we'd finished opening presents.

Unfortunately, my new iPod required a more current version of Windows in order to run. It might've also demanded a FireWire port we didn't have, too; I'm a bit fuzzy. Long story short, though, my parents were unwilling to shell out for the necessary upgrades, so it was back to the store with my shiny new iPod. I got a Dell MP3 player instead, which performed quite admirably but was never quite the same. Of course, since then I've had a number of much more awesome (iTouch!) and shiny MP3 players, but I'll never forget that first one that got away...

I wanted a go-kart but they got me an ATV instead. Not that I'm complaining it was awesome but I would have liked a go-kart more I think. I was a child with expensive taste. Now I'm an adult who likes expensive things but alas I'm broke :D

I wanted this lego castle:

Because I loved the style of the cool looking medieval house at the back corner of it. They bought me this Lego castle:

Which didn't have a cool medieval house in it. I was actually a little annoyed by it, which is so dumb looking back because I actually got a bigger castle that was really cool. I did love the present, and I was happy with the castle I got, but there was a small part of me that was a bit bitter.

I really wanted the handheld 3 Ninjas game.

For those of you who are younger we used to have these little handheld games that looked like this

It essentially was a very superficial game where you have a character that would do like 2-3 actions and enemies and stuff would blip across the screen.

But yea I think my parent ended up giving me like $5; granted I know that we were super poor when I was a kid, but getting cash for Christas when I was like 6 or 7 years old really sucked. My parents got so mad when I got so upset that they decided not to do the Christmas gift thing ever again.
