The thread is mostly aimed at people who don't farm achievements, care about a gamerscore, or try to 100% every game they get.
This thread is about those of you who have encountered that one game that you had to beat, completely. The one that stands out from the others, begging you to complete all of it's meaningless side-quests. The game you have to get all teir 10 gear, or catch 251 critters, or gather every one of those annoying psi-cards.
For me, it's Borderlands, and I don't understand why. The normal game is very bland. You drive around the desert for 30 hours talking to characters that are mostly unfunny, and go fight a boss that really isn't all that impressive. It should be boring, but it's so much fun.
Presently, I have 64 out of 80 achievements, and I'm narrowing down the list of quests left to complete with my Hunter. I fully intend to beat the game and complete every quest with all four classes.
So what games have you singled out to beat above all others?
