I got bored of GTA4 and never completed it. Played the crap out of every other GTA in the series though.

GTA 3 --> At the time when I played it, I was rather young, and was easily frightened by the violence (go figure, considering that one of my favorite games now is God of War). Everything else was fine - carjacking, running from the cops, even doing the missions and getting into my own fights wasn't so bad. But for the life of me, I couldn't wrap my head around walking into neighborhoods and people wanting to attack me instantly. I recall specifically walking into the St. Marks zone, and some guy with an automatic would immediately wail on me. No matter what direction I came in, he'd find me. Scared the pants off of me every time. End game.

Others I don't think I will ever touch again, like FF13 for being such a boring "game": Oh a corridor, oh still the same corridor, lets keep going straight ahead through the corri OH MY GOD GRASS PLAINS! aaand more corridors.
Am I right in thinking you're specifically refering to that blue crystal forrest section with Lighting and Hope? Because that bastard really did just go on and on and on and on, didn't it?

I stuck with FF13 to the point when it finally entered actual open space, where it apparently should've gotten better. Can you blame me for hoping?
Actually I am referring to EVERY area in that game except he grassy plains. I particularly didn't like the very monotone corridors on that ship you are on right before the open world.

My main gripe with FF13 is that you never got a feel for the world you were in, sure you were hunted, but that is no excuse for not having a single town, or person beyond the main characters to interact with.

Sonic 06.
I've beaten Sonic's story and made it part way through both Silver and Shadow's story before just giving up in disgust. God I hated that game...
Well there are mods to increase graphics, its a old game remember that. and for AI there are tons of mods which improve AI. Both those problems can be easily solved. But your right vanilla AI sucks.)
It wasn't the AI I took issue with; it was the fact that in the beginning, three rounds could kill you, but by the Military Warehouses, it had progressed to the point where an enemy could put an entire 30 rounds into your back and you could turn round and put 1 in their skull and they were dead. The graphics weren't a real problem, but they did get slightly annoying and my brother refused to play it because of them. Yeah, he's like that.

Brink.

Couldn't get past day 2 on the security side because my god damn AI buddies couldn't give me ANY cover while I was trying to deliver the security card. Or whatever the hell I was doing.

I must say, that game set a record though, I'd never sold a game 3 days after getting it up until I got Brink.
The EXACT same problem happened to me on the EXACT same mission.

I don't think I'll ever finish Modern Warfare 2 on Veteran difficulty...or any Call of Duty game on Veteran difficulty for that matter.

FarCry2. It's just the same thing over and over and all anyone wants to do is kill you. Not to mention when you finally get half way through the game it's like "SURPRISE! We got lazy and did the exact same thing for the second half of the game."
