I read the OP more closely and realized it has to be games that are released. Unfortunately, I have none since there are no games that if I want to play, I can't. Not sure how that could be an issue. Between used games, Steam, GOG.com, emulation, etc. It is pretty easy to get any title.

Starship Titanic - My father borrowed it from a library *mumble* years ago. I believe it would be much fun to play it now that I can actually understand the robots and tell them things other than "I like bananas". Alas I highly doubt I could get that game working on my Vista.

I am surprised a game from 2004 is giving you that kind of trouble. I am also surprised you haven't found any answers. I've been able to fight my way through almost any issues I have running older games. Feel free to PM me more details of the problem and your specs and I can try and give you some stuff to try.

I recently bought Civilization V on the Steam weekend sale two(?) weeks ago, but my graphics card can't run it. Everything else in my computer is fine though. Mind you, that wasn't exactly a surprise, since it's a pretty terrible graphics card, and I bought the game because I knew I'd buy it at some point and I figured I might as well save 30$ for when I can actually play it... Only, I don't really have the money to buy a graphics card right now. The fact that I knew that I couldn't play it right away doesn't change the fact that I really wish I could...

I would also love to play Metal Gear Solid 4, but I don't own a PS3, so I still don't know how the story ends. And I've been really interested in Catherine, in part because of its strange-yet-intruiging premise and in part because its soundtrack makes use of awesome music and this makes the musician/music historian in me really excited XD

For the longest time it was Harvest Moon for the N64. I loved that game as a kid, but the cartridge disappeared. I missed playing it so much I actually did some trading with a class mate (I was in 6th grade at the time)... I'd make stuff for him to give to his crush at the time and he'd lend me the game for a month. It was a cool tradeoff

Although I'd still love to play Harvest Moon, most days it seems to be that I wish I could be playing FFX for the ps2. We had that game too when I was a kid, but the disc was scratched beyond redemption when I was only 25% through. No game store nearby ever has it in stock, and it's quite disheartening... It was a blast to play.

That's why I went to EBay, I bought myself a whole bunch of good old N64 games just in case I ever wanted to play them ever again. Also Damn you, you just reminded me that I have Harvestmoon 64 and now I want to play it....

OT: Battletoads and King of Dragons for the SNES for one since my parents sold my SNES and all my games to my aunt and uncle to give to my cousin. Who by the way is a bastard and cant even play them anymore but refuses to let me buy or even borrow them >_<

Also SW:ToR after seeing that consular trailer I went straight to the ToR site and watched EVERY video they had so now i'm super pumped for a game with no release date, God Dammit

- I was only borrowing the GameCube for a while
- My PS2 is in another county
- I don't have any money
- Though TH runs on Vista, the mouse stutters all over the place making it totally unplayable.

Actually, as of recently, I've wanted to play "I have no mouth and I must scream". The problem is that finding a copy at a reasonable price, or at all for that matter, is about as easy as trying to find something funny or interesting about YouTube Vbloggers.
I'm going to stop by Barnes and Noble sooner or later to pick up a copy of the actual story.

There's a game of that? ... Sounds interesting. The story is great, I'd recommend it, although I find Ellison's writing as a whole to be rather hit-or-miss. You should also check out "The Beast that Shouted Love at the Heart of the World" for an almost prose-poetry take on scifi.

OT: I've really been wanting to play Shogun 2 lately, but Dragon Age: Origins is making me finish it so that I can uninstall it and free up 24 gigs from my 112 gig hard drive.
