I have never played Chrono Cross, and I really want to. All I know is that it's almost nothing like Chrono Trigger, but it's still just as awesome in a completely different way.

Donkey Kong 64.

I really enjoyed that game when it came out so many years ago. Sadly, my N64 is now defunct. Broken beyond repair. Don't ask me how. So now I'm biding my time until I see a port.

...PORT IT ALREADY, DAMMIT!!!

Infamous2, since Yahtzee went out of his way to praise it...

I really enjoyed Spore, I'd like to play that again on my new system with all the graphics turned up... But I can't, because EA is a company staffed entirely by morons and assholes, and they think I'm only entitled to 3 installs of the game I paid 60 dollars for on launch day. Guess who won't be paying them any more money for DLC, Expansions, or sequels?

I also really want to play Tie Fighter, but last time I tried to install it, it said it needed DirectX 6 and I couldn't get it to realize that I have a DirectX 11 compatible machine with DX 11 installed already. So for now, no X-Wing or Tie Fighter or XvT: Flight School for me. I'll work it out eventually.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent. I have it, and I'm about half way through, but it's so damn scary it's always a battle to actually click that little "play" button.
Like right now, I really want to play it... but I can't... You know what i mean?
Also, this. Amnesia, and the Penumbra series before it, are the perfect kind of scary game. I'm terrified of the monsters, it's either difficult or impossible to fight back, and both games have audio tricks everywhere so I'm constantly in a state of tension. I'm ready to piss my pants at the slightest provocation, I'm prepared to sprint at the end of every puzzle or "Find the Thing" section, and half the time I can't tell if an enemy is near or if it's just the background sounds.

Oh and in both Amnesia and Machinarium, I've made tons of progress that I now have to re-do. That's probably one of the biggest barriers ever. In Amnesia, it's because I'm using my new supercomputer instead of my laptop, and in Machinarium it's because my computer did an update/restart without prompting me or giving me a chance to save. I was at the very end of Machinarium, too. Now I'm on the third goddamn screen.

Last but not least, I bought Rock of Ages yesterday on Steam, not realizing the damn thing wasn't technically released yet. It didn't tell me until I tried to download it and it was listed in my library as a preorder. Apparently I have to wait until the 31st, FML.

Resident Evil: Director's Cut, or Resi 2.. or perhaps Silent Hill 1.

On my -original- Playstation, which is long gone (and travel back in time where modern gaming hasn't tainted the experience). My system couldn't save, it was borked. A blessing in disguise really... Survival Horror? Indeed.

I cannot wait to play Skyr- oh, already played? Halo: Reach, then. My buddy just made an amazing Froge map, but I lent my copy to a friend.

Starcraft 2. You have no idea how much willpower it takes for me to build up the courage to go play an online game of SC2. Even though I win most of the games I play (Silver league hero!), I have a tendency to quit playing after one game, regardless of wether I win or lose.

Problem is, I absolutley love playing it.

Right now seeing as I hurt my back last weekend pretty much any games, I'm currently missing Torchlight as far as games that are out right now, I have it but sitting at my desk to play for a meaningful length of time just ends in pain.

As for games that I REALLY REALLY want, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, especially after reading the PC Gamer review, and Daiblo 3, I really don't give a shit about the always on connection or the auction house whining that's been going on, I've long since given in and installed Steam after years of resistance so what difference does it make if I have to install Blizzard's service as well.

Catherine, El Shaddai, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor, want to keep working on Mass Effect 2...
Don't have the console for the first two, playing the ME2 on a friend's computer, and my time is taken up mostly with job hunting, trying to finish a story in hopes of eventual publication, and procrastinating from those two tasks. I really shouldn't spend any money to buy something that would just help me procrastinate more.
