Spyro the Dragon. I wanted it so much after playing it at my step-sister's Playstation 1. So I asked my folks, and then two weeks later....I got a SNES with Starfox...WHA?!

Not that I minded, Starfox rocked!!

I've been gaming since I can remember, but I'm sure I had to have a genesis as well after I saw Sonic.

I decided to play the trial version of plants versus zombies knowing that I wouldn't end up getting it... I bought it, won it all the minigames and puzzles and now i'm half-way through survivor.

Doom II was propably the first game I saw at someone elses place I then desperately wanted. I've never owned or really even wanted a console.

I became a gamer "on my own".

I got hooked playing Excite Bike at a friend's house. The other games he had were fun, but that was the primary one I played at his house.

It was Super Mario 64 on the N64. My cousin had it, and when I finally got one of my own, I even got up early to play it before school.

I haven't actually asked to get a console, nor was there a "that one game" situation. My mom raised me to be a gamer more or less. One of my first memories is from me and my mom playing the NES and Sega Mega Drive. My mom was also the one who bought the Nintendo 64 when that came out. Guess being a gamer is more or less in my genes, AND in the way I was raised. Any other outcome was more or less impossible.

Not that I'm complaining though! ^_^

I always have been gaming, but my very first was Super Mario Land for the big grey colosus named the Game Boy [http://i1-news.softpedia-static.com/images/news2/The-GameBoy-That-Kills-Literally-2.jpg] without any suffix or abreviation added.

I don't really have a One Game [http://tolkiengateway.net/w/images/9/9f/Vivendi%27s_The_Lord_of_the_Rings-_The_Fellowship_of_the_Ring_box.png], just a born urge to do so.

I never asked for the N64 that my parents bought me, we were poor immigrants on a fixed budget, and I didn't think we could afford it. The whole thing was my dad's idea, and it was an amazing surprise on christmas morning.

Yeah, my parents are awesome.
and so is your avatar :3

OT;

actually..it was my dad who sparked it, mostly, he was playing a game..i sat down and was immersed >.>..

then it died for a while,

then it beat the shit out of me in primary 7 when i got a PS2..
