I have 2 questions about the Gman:

What is in his briefcase? (not that noclip explanation)
and
Who are his "employers"?

These questions keep me up at night.

In Half Life 1, a pencil, some paper, and a pistol.

The G-man is not Gordon Freeman, I don't even see how that could be the case.
Gman is just a codename, used for his character model

He has Gordons ID-card too i think. Saw a clip on youtube were a guy nocliped into the briefcase.

I really want Corporal Adrian Shephard from Opposing Force to return to the story at some point. Christ Barney came back and Blue Shift wasn't a great expansion pack compared to Opposing Force.

But Barney is an excellent sidekick character. Shepherd wouldn't fit into the current cast of characters very well, I think.
