Traditionally, the Water Temple of both OoT and TP sucked.

Any part of I Wanna Be The Guy. It's as if sadism itself was channeled into this game.

The machine Minotaur thingy in God of War. I couldn't do the stupid QTE's....hey I know it probably easy for you guys but it was hard for me :`(

In the end I just didn't play the game again.

"For Pete's Sake" on the original Earthworm Jim. I could NEVER pass it as a kid. When I found they had remade the game in HD I was ecstatic to potentially see the end of the game since I had grown mentally, and am better at games.

I currently hate the Vietnam level in Black Ops. There's this section, where you are on top of a hit, above a trench, and a never-ending stream of Vietnamese troops keep pouring into the trench. You are directed to move down the hit, and to go into the trench, while under a constant stream of fire from Vietnamese troops. This wouldn't be so bad if your teammates ever helped you out, killed a couple of guys, maybe laid down some covering fire, used themselves as human shields to draw enemy fire, ANYTHING, but instead they just make you do all the work on your own.

Is that the bit which starts with Woods talking to a bunch of marines on top of a hill?

Took me a fucking week to do that bit!!!
Would have been nice if the game hinted to kick the barrels down the hill
And if enemies couldnt hit you square in the nuts from a country away with LMG...CoD hasnt quite grasped the concept of difficulty yet or good singleplayer for that matter

I thought you had to take that bunker on the right! After fifteen deaths I get to the bunker and nothing! But yeah that section isn't very well explained, especially when 'DEFEND' is the most vague objective ever. I only got Woods to kick over the first barrel BY COMPLETE ACCIDENT because I stuck it on easy and just ran around like a headless chicken until some sort of line was crossed to create a checkpoint and movement from Woods.

The whole "lester the unlikely" game, on the Snes. Its was just.. so horribly HARD. Never beated the game, ever. The farthest i ever managed to go was a little after we manage to run on rooftops of the huts/talk to the girl, I cant quite remember.. or my brain doesnt want me to.

Quickman's level in Megaman 2. The slightest failure means death.

Mass Effect 2 on Insanity on the Collector ship. Never have I hated an entire level so much.

God Hand. Pretty much the whole game. Though level 7 was just pure frustration.
