Thanks to the stupid younger self, I can't bend my second toe (next to the big toe on my left foot) too far cos I kept clicking the joint as a kid. Doing so will be quite painful. I'm pretty sure I am somewhat closer to given myself arthritis.

My right shoulder doesn't have full range of motion anymore, and it's constantly extremely tight.

It's a fair trade for removing the malignant tumour though.

Right now, I'm currently recovering from a wrist injury. Don't get me wrong, it's at this point, pretty much pain-free and of no disruption for everyday use. Everyday use. I'm putting on as much muscle as I can to cosplay Conan in a year and a half. And even a minor amount of pain caused in everyday use amplifies 100 fold when you're trying to curl 16kgs.

Years ago a splinter or something got into the first joint of my left ring finger and stayed there where it healed into a kind of soft lump I can feel if I press my thumb against it. It isn't painful and has no effect on the use of the finger, but I know it's there... o.o;

About two years ago I was skiing and damaged my left ankle, this left scar tissue there that hurts if I walk on it or lean on it a certain way, and I can't ski again because getting in the position for skiing triggers it.
This isn't anything major, of course the obvious solution is don't walk/lean in a way that triggers pain, but it gets really annoying when you are at your job (mine involves a lot of standing) you are bored, so you shift around, and then suddenly trigger it.

When I was 6, I broke my jaw, and it had healed on its own before anyone noticed :-/ The ortho said it wasn't work re-breaking as it had set relatively well, but it makes my smile crooked, and eating soft things can cause problems with how my mouth is set.

Slightly less annoying; dislocated my shoulder when a scrum collapsed on me in secondary school. Every now and again it twinges, and makes the gym awkward, but otherwise its not too bad :)

One of my front teeth was smashed when I was 7, because someone threw a rock at me. Every few years I have to go to the Orthodontist to get it repaired it again.
wait, so the guy that threw a rock at you still does it to this very day?
i dont quite understand...
Every few years the chunk of "fake tooth" for want of a better term comes loose from what remains of my actual tooth.

About three months ago I cut my right index finger to the bone trying to cut apart some PVC pipe. now the first knuckle (as in, not the one below the nail, the one below that) seizes up at random. Easy enough to work out, though, and more an inconvenience than a serious hindrance.

I got into a fight back in January and fractured my Scaphoid (tiny wrist bone) and I'm STILL in plaster because the bone only has one very small blood vessel to supply it with osteoblasts (bone re-building cells). I should get it off in... 9 days, but I'll likely end up having aches there for the rest of my life.

The other guy however; he ended up with three broken fingers from bashing me in the head and a broken nose from me hitting him back. I also found out a week later that he'd been banned from every pub in town after getting caught doing blow in the toilets somewhere. That made me chuckle.
Could be worse. I was in a cast for a grand total of 7 months with a fractured Scaphiod (ended up having surgery). It's been almost 2 years since I had surgery and luckily I haven't had any aches from everyday work. It only gets sore after lifting weights etc. My advice would be to do all of the exercise a physio gets you to do (If you're going to see one) it was a massive help in regards to getting my wrist strength and flexibility back.

Fell off my bike when I was 9 and broke my right wrist in two places. Now the wrist cracks every so often and will seize up sometimes if I prevent it cracking.

So, what's your one little old injury or annoyance right now?
The problem is, I haven't got anything right now. That being said, I always have some kind of cut/sore/blister or something on the inside of my mouth that makes eating a real pain in the...mouth. The last time this happened was when I had a bag of Sriracha lays...the spicy chips didn't help the little cuts on the interior of my teeth...this will happen monthly and I almost always end up biting the inside of my cheek (no I don't know how or why this happens) which either exacerbates or, causes the condition.

At this exact moment? My left shoulder is fraked up somehow. I think I strained a muscle in my sleep. Just woke up in a lot of pain a couple of days ago. I thought it was my back at first, because it hurt to do pretty much anything. Like move. A couple of days later it is pretty much hurting only around the shoulder blade itself, though I still hurt a lot if I move too much. I'll be much happier when it finishes healing, though I wish I knew how I did it in the first place.

Ooh I found another one!

I have a tiny flake of graphite under the skin of my left middle finger, just beneath the middle of the finger print.

Way back when I was about 9 or 10, a friend of mine said "Look how sharp this pencil is!" *jab*. It was only after it healed I noticed the little grey dot under the skin which I'm surprised is still there today, a good 12-13 years later.

It doesn't hurt, it's just weird.

I dislocated my right shoulder a few years back, playing basketball, and it has occurred about four or five times again since then. It annoys me because I'm more afraid to do sports and the like now than I used to be, as I have no idea when I might do something silly and find myself in pain...

When I was 14 years old, I sleep walked out my bedroom window, which fractured my lumbar spine.

Mostly its fine, but every so often It'll act up with some really unpleasant back pain.

I'm still recovering from breaking my right wrist in a motorcycle accident. While it's healing up nicely, the range of motion for up and down is still very limited. Plus, if I accidentally bump it against something...even slightly...it gives me a nice jolt of pain.

I highly recommend not rear-ending a SUV while riding a Harley. Bad things tend to result from it.....Like a busted up Harley.

I've really never had a lasting injury or anything that caused permanent effects on my body. The only thing I can think of is my right hand. I've been dealing with some anger problems for several years now, and every once in a while something will make me angry enough to punch something as hard as I can. The wall, the fridge, the coffee table, a door. So over the years the knuckles of the first two fingers, the ones I punch with, have gotten all big and hard, like a kung fu master who trains his hands by punching trees until they are full of bone spurs and stuff. I've never broken my knuckles, miraculously, so it doesn't hurt or impede the effectiveness of my hand, but it's weird how lop-sided the knuckles on my hands are now.
