I've just got back from a weekend at the coast with my team, the sun was shining, we all had a beer, played a bit of sport with some music on in the background. Since then I have not been able to get one song out of my head -

It's just so... summery. I actually love it, as it reminds me of the weekend and all the other times I've been able to kick back and enjoy myself, turn my phone/internet off, not wear a watch and live in the moment for a bit.

Unfortunately I think that the repetitiveness may ruin the song for me.

before this is was taylor Swifts blank space that I couldn't shift. Therapy helped.

What have you got stuck in your head at the minute? Do you know what it is, any backstory at all?

...It's probably not exactly the first thing people think of when they think "catchy," but it's sticking around for me.

Recently re-discovered Savlonic's work. Can't seem to shake off the chorus from 'Computer Guy'.

Gotta hand it to MrWeebl. He's always had a knack for makin' sexy tunes out of epoxy.

I have a few around right now, all from JRPGs (if Sengoku Rance is a JRPG?) funnily enough.

There's this which while being a kind of generic type electric guitar riff type song is hilarious for its context. This is the H scene song in Sengoku Rance. I shit you not, this bombastic rock guitar solo filled song is the backing music to a sex scene.

You kind of might think it's ok for a sex scene if you really try but then it hits 20 seconds in and well never fucking mind. I guess Sengoku Rance is a parody eroge now.

Back to more conventional sources with the Bravely Default main battle theme which is catchy as hell and just plain fun.

Now back again to weird eroge town with the main battle theme to Monster Girl Quest.

Fucking earworms, all of you.

This morose little gem, /shudder[footnote]I've revisited it, I'll not stop hearing it for days now you monster D:[/footnote].

Do you know what it is, any backstory at all?
Last month or so I decided to listen to Iggy Azalea's albums (The New Classic and Reclassified). Not impressed for the most part, but this song is a rare earworm in I think I can decipher why it refuses to leave my brain whenever it's on.

See, the chorus is very obviously trying to emulate her big hit Fancy which relied on the strong hook given by Charli XCX. The first chorus is just frigging magical because it hits you out of nowhere like it did in Fancy. Afterwards? It wears off. Musically and lyrically, though, it resembles Iggy Azalea's previous single Black Widow, a song I quite enjoy. "I'mma make you beg for it" is literally a line from Black Widow.

So this song is basically a mesh of Fancy's memorable moments with the familiarity of a song I really, really enjoy. It's so bad, but it will never leave my head. I can also remember her rapping in most of her songs so... I'm doomed.

About a year ago, I found myself listening to Die Fahne Hoch. It's proved such a tenacious little earworm that bars of it have been popping in and out of my head ever since. Considering its background, it's still one of the blithest little tunes I've ever heard and often brings a smile to my face. Other than that, Farewell Of Slavianka and Hinter Den Bergen are great travelling tunes.

Honestly, I'm kind of scared at how often I get "I Can't Decide" by the Scissor Sisters stuck in my brain. Catchy as hell, though.

"Life is Beautiful" from Deadly Premonition. There's somthing about the whistle in that tune that just sticks with you..... And then E3 rolled around, and I wound up whistling the song for nearly an hour straight after some of the announcements... -_-;

This song wiggles into my brain far more often than it should, but it's always welcome nonetheless. ;)

Strange answer incoming... I don't know the song, don't know the words, if it has any, or the whole tune, or if the song exists outside of my mind, even. But, I've had it going through my mind as far back as I can remember. It's a nice tune, I even hum it occasionally, and often mix up the rhythm and such. And don't ask me to write down the tune, because I don't know how.

Every song I listen to never wants to leave my head... because I won't allow them to...

With that said, I'll list you three little ditties just to keep it simple...
After first hearing it off a commercial for T-Mobile then later off a commercial for Children's Hospital, I later caved in to look for the song's title... only to stumble on the first trailer for the movie Vacation where one of the YouTube comments mentioned the song's name in question... As it turns out, the part that's usually used in those advertisements wasn't even the best part of the song in question...
Back when I was first starting to find/buy as much music featured off Adult Swim, I found out about Fluid Minds' album The [AS] Mixtape, which had a track called Shadow that I felt was too short for it's own good... And then, I listened to the remix, which not only solved that particular problem, but exceeded my expectations when it came to the remix's chorus...
I love Ragyo's theme... I love Metal Sonic's theme... I just fucking wish this shit was longer...
